Just been given an sl320 - 40 years old

To ease the pain of my 40th my brother has juat given me his 98 plate sl320 (bit taken a back as although he can afford it it is too much realy, so he has left it with me to think it over - his view is resale values are so low currently its worth keeping in the family) in the intrim it needs a service. Can any of the experts suggest a good specialist in the Lancaster cumbria area.

Bit south of you but i have my CE230 and ML270 serviced at Ball & Hargreaves on the A6 about 8 miles south of Lancaster (by the turn off to Scorton if you know the area at all?) They specialise in MB & BMW and seem to do a good job at a "reasonable" price - which is all relative depending what you are used to!
The scorton MB guy sounds fine only 40 mins away - well worth the drive if he is good thanks.
Spent the day off cleaning it rather than house work and it looks great (tan interior needs some more work with dark blue extirior).
Got the car insured £350 - seemed reasonable but let me know if I have been ripped of.....
