C55 AMG speedo in kph!

Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help.
I am a new owner of a C55 AMG (changed a E46 M3 for it, the MB is a much better car!).
There are two digital displays on the dash, the bottom one is reading kph the dealer says that’s correct and cannot be changed to mph.
I have seen on Utube a u.k. spec cars running a mph digital speedo, does anyone know how to change it?

It is meant to be fixed as kph. Apparently it can be re-programmed on some cars, presumably using the MB diag tool, although I've no idea whether a dealer is officially allowed to do so.

I'm sure I heard somewhere they can, however, switch it outside temperature though ...

The dash cluster needs the UK setting deactivated, this allows the status bar to display either speed or temperature.

Dealers aren't allowed to do this, although some technicians may have sussed a way round it.

Comand.co.uk sorted the display on my car, 5 minutes work with a laptop, they also liberated some other features lurking in STAR.
