Although the jury is out on the wheels. Im not a fan of big inch rims, a little too "wide boy" for me...
The suspension is so smooth but I can feel every thing those rear 275 tires rollover.
I may go back to the original 16inch alloys if a decent set comes along.

Thanks all. I must admit I assumed it was Obsidian. I came from a flat/non-metallic black CLK prior to this one and the difference was obvious when the two were parked next to each other, but not necessarily in isolation.

I will confirm the colour and report back – I should know really!

It's one of those heart vs head things. I kept my last E500 on it's (standard) 17's. But cracked with this one and fitted 18's. Noticeably harsher and noisier. But much better looking........

Scrubs up well but needs a respray and a new hood. Trouble is I already have a garage queen and no desire to own two that are both too "precious" to go out in the wet/salt/mud. One may have to be sold.
