Bought this on Saturday for my good lady.
CLK 500 in understated Elegance trim. Genuine 1 owner car with under 60k miles. Full MBSH including a comprehensive folder of receipts for each year. It's a 2004, but 1st of the facelift cars with 7G box on the m113 v8, nice options added too. She is very happy with it!
Being Elegance, it's not got a body kit, sits on unexciting 17's and has a single (very quiet) exhaust. Rear badges will be removed this evening for that wolf in sheep clothing approach. Not quick like my 63 obviously, but it does pick up its boots rather efficiently. Genuine 32mpg on the way home too.

After 18 months with the '98 320 Special Edition , which included a 2k mile tour through France last summer, I reluctantly sold her in February .
To be replaced with this 2011 SL350. Spent last week in Scotland with her completing the North Coast 500 followed by a couple of days on Skye, 1700 miles mostly with the top down.

I was looking at this a couple of weeks ago on Mercedes used approved such a great colour combo and great to see a different colour to the usual blacks and whites. Whats the car like? I've been looking at one of these or an f10 M5. I'm sure an M5 would be fantastic too but for me it just doesn't sound that great for a V8, and exhaust upgrades are very expensive imo.
I've just spent £375 having the resonator deleted for some straight pipes and it sounds phenomenal to my ears. I was in Germany 10 days ago and my mates thoroughly enjoyed my antics through the tunnels over there, whilst my son and i were just laughing our heads off.
Which brings back to my first point, the car performed surprisingly well for such a big car whilst lapping the Nurburgring (far more capable than me) and then 3 days later returned 31mpg on a work trip up the motorway to Leeds.
It really is a car with a dual personality and as you can probably tell I like it!
I bought this C63S a couple of weeks ago for family duties!

How do you keep these clean? Always wondered. Can you just wash it like a normal car with a sponge etc?It has a slight texture but I think you could wash it conventionally. Perhaps if you used an orbital polisher it would flatten the paint a little and make it feel more conventional.
I can say with certainty that it does show fingerprints.
Bought this SLK earlier this year and my wife collected it on the first day of 'the beast from the East'. It's a 30k mile 2011 250 petrol AMG line spec 125 Edition (hence the red seat belts).
It has replaced my 'weekend' BMW Z3 3.0 (which barely did any miles) and her Mini 1.6 which also happened to be red. Since the weather has improved I've been out on the drive with my DA polisher slowly removing the multiple swirls in the paint from automatic car washes and generally cleaning it all up...I'm really pleased with how it's turned out. It's not the fastest car in the world, but I don't feel like I'm losing out from my Z3 when I drive it (except the engine note isn't as nice). My wife loves it and I rarely get chance to drive it anyway, which means she drives us to the pub, so it's a win/win.
