On the car that is.
My 156 V6 really stinks sulphurous after the first blast (having warmed up first).
Is my lambda probe faulty?
How can I cure this embarrassing problem?

Err - that would be perfectly normal actually.

Nothing is wrong other than you're using rather sulphurous fuel perhaps. The solution is to drive harder and make sure the sulphur deposits never build up in the first place.

I think you are hammering your car to hard...try
easing off the pedal on the right to see if it makes any difference.
if no different... try what posty said
optmax ( hope the petrol is better than the crap adds)
if no better add a fuel injector cleaner to half a tank, (I do have an asnu injector cleaning machine,)
find a freindly alfa garage to test your beast
to see if any faults in computer (pop in to me if you
are local to harrow) would only take 15 mins.
test the COs+HCs AT SAME TIME
have had one customer with the eggy smell on a late 164 24v.auto. he eased up on the accel.pedal.
good luck. eddythealfaman
