Does anyone know of an independent Alfa specialist in Cheshire/Lancashire/Liverpool/Manchester/North Wales who might show more interest in servicing my 156 than the main dealers?

I thought that Mangoletsi would be able to help- they are main dealers though.

Failing that, I've heard a coulple of good things about Ferdi's Garage a while ago. They are in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire and number is 01253 738 903.

I thought the 'M word dealers' were ok- a few people up hear have had good experiences, and I've heard fairly good press- maybe its the exception though!

Not that I've any experience myself, but they tried to pull a fast one on my brother. He bought a showroom car, agreed the price, sold as seen, all that. When he turned up to pick the car up, they'd swapped the nice 18" wheels for bog-standard smaller ones.

After some argument, my brother told them to put the wheels back on or stick the car up their arse.

He's enjoying the 18"s
