Goodyear F1. But make sure it is the GSD3 (and not GSD2).
Avoid Pirelli P Zero NERO.
Terrible blooming things.
I've got P7000 in all four corners at the moment, they give good grip progressively and let you know whats going on at each corner, whats so bad about the Pzero's ??

Dunno. Not tried 'em.
I've actually got P6000s on the GTV at the moment. Grip is good (less so in the wet) and they're wearing fantastically well. F1s just look a damn sight sexier on the rims, though!

What are they like in the wet? The F1s are supposed to be very good...

The ultra-high performance of Zeta Linea, expressly designed to satisfy European tuning needs, make it stand out from all the rest. To obtain such performance, the tyre has a special PST contour, the perfect way to guarantee reliability and precision at high speeds, special compounds with an FOM-IC base, and a series of technical innovations involving the bead, the tread design and a shifted double nylon belt. The end result is a tyre that responds quickly to the most stressful conditions and with extraordinary progressive handling, without reducing its recognised operating silence or comfort. Characteristics Ultra-High Performance, speed code up to W Tread with directional design and wide grooves Spiralled nylon belt Compound with FOM-IC PST platform Advantages Highest performance under the most demanding driving conditions Exciting response and precision, high aquaplaning resistance Maximum structural uniformity and regular wear Greater adhesion on dry and wet roads, low rolling resistance Overall increase in control and driving pleasure

The Eagle F1 GSD2 high performance tyre combines the OneTRED design of a racing slick, for superb handling, with unique VTRED technology to reduce the chance of aquaplaning.

Be careful - it's very confusing! There are four (I think) types of P Zero. I have only tried the Neros and they don't wear well, don't grip well, are quite noisy and have a strange solid wooden feel to them. My car felts completely different after I fitted the GSD3's. (NOT GSD2's!!). I have heard good things about the P7000's and also the P Zero Rossos but the latter are not available in 215/45/17.
