I admit I didn't really consider rear leg room as an issue: my passengers can put up with what they get. In any case, mine has quite a lot of rear leg room, at least the seat behind the driver does, 'cos I'm only 5'5".

If my wife's driving you get limo like rear room (she's 5'3"), if I'm driving (6') you get almost none

I'm a bit surprised you fit in TT, I've been told the driver's position is a bit cramped unless you're a bit of a shortarse.

I can get quite comfy as long as the seat is as far back as it'll go and the backrest is angled back a fair bit (hence zero rear leg room).

I do get shin ache on my right leg though due to poor accellerator pedal position (it's too high). That'll be the old Italian Ape driving position then

I think that's answered my question about the size of the 156, then. Longer is certainly better than taller.
