Seems a bit of a rare car.....spotted one for sale a 1998 model on ebay and its certainly different.
Turbo power and harks back to the HFs and Integrales but i know little about these cars or the engines.
what do people know? did they do a 4wd version? what were the figures? what was it based on or was it bespoke?

We had a naturally aspirated one when we lived in NL. The only problem we had in 4 years of ownership was that the dealer fitted auto-folding mirrors didn't always unfold first time - due to a faulty connector, and fixed at its first service. Other than that, no issues at all. Ride and handling seemed fine, but I did manage to induce brake fade coming down one of the many very enjoyable roads in the Pyrenees (not so much an issue in NL...)
I had one of the first ones imnported into the UK-had it for almost 10 years. Lot of fun, mine was chipped and the torque steer was immense so I would shred front tyres all the time. Build quality better than an Integrale (I have an Evo 1 too) however you cannot compare them. They are great cars in there own right, not really fully understood or appreciated here in the UK and off course LHD only which may put people off. The seats in they are gorgeous Recaro's.
