These cars just ooze road presence.
Saturday just gone I saw a lovely red one in Richmond (Middx) and the Saturday before I saw a blue one going over Lambeth Bridge. They are just spectacular. Still rare but the amount of people looking at them goes to show how special they are.
Of stark contrast to the grey RS5 I followed the other day, so bland!!Saturday just gone I saw a lovely red one in Richmond (Middx) and the Saturday before I saw a blue one going over Lambeth Bridge. Definitely. If I saw one of those racing up behind me, I'm sure the Jaws theme will be playing in my mind.
I just find the German offerings so bland shape and colour wise but the colour is obviously down to the individual specing it.
I actually think the BM and C63s have similar presence, it's the drive that really separates IMO.I just find the German offerings so bland shape and colour wise but the colour is obviously down to the individual specing it.

Anyone cross shopped this Vs an M3 Comp Pack and RS5?
Why did you pick the Alfa?
Not sure the RS5 is a direct competitor, however I went for the RS5 over the QF as I wanted a coupe, not even sure Alfa will make a coupe version of the QF and got fed up waiting. Also lack of folding back seats still baffles me given it is a saloon, which does not make it very practical.. From a performance perspective, all three cars are very capable, however clearly more drama in a QF and M3.Why did you pick the Alfa?

Sounds like a good honest opinion.G
From what I've heard, a folding rear seat is possibly an option that's coming. Potentially the same re adding middle rear seat belt but no firm confirmation yet (that I've seen).
I'm hopefully test driving one of these tomorrow.
Has anyone used their Quadrifoglio on track fairly regularly and if so how does the car and in particular the brakes hold up?
I have a lotus 2-11 and E39 M5. I'm thinking the Alfa could be the ultimate do anything all in one car that I can use any day or weather and enjoy on track too. I'd love an Exige 430 Cup but with a 3 year old daughter, family life at the moment dictates rear seats.

It's a heavy car, but hides it very well. If you want a regular track car then this wouldn't be my choice..... unless you have deep pockets. Tyres and brakes will be mullered in no time and even the carbon ceramics aren't that long lasting. It's a proper weapon for the occasional track session, but that's it. Go lightweight if you want a track tool.
For your info. The quad weighs 1700kg+ without a driver. The book figure is bks.
Hi all....
I received my QF yesterday, and I'm really enjoying it.
One question though; in the roof console with the reading lights there is a constant orange light illuminated "Passenger Airbag On" is this normal? Surely i only care if its off.
It's a bit irritating as its orange glow keeps catching my eye, and my brain is tuned to orange light == problem.
I've read through the manual and cannot find a reference to it. Apologies if i've missed something obvious.
Thanks

You're going to kill tyres. And that's never going to be cheep at about £1200 a set. Brakes are superb and I have not heard of anyone having issues with prolonged heavy use. I'm not sure how they would last with constant track hammer tho. Has anyone used their Quadrifoglio on track fairly regularly and if so how does the car and in particular the brakes hold up?

I thought that was the QF's clear advantage over rivals with all that carbon fibre, that it weighed around 1600kg and the lightest in it's class..It's a proper weapon for the occasional track session, but that's it. Go lightweight if you want a track tool.
