Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio - Anyone Ordering One

Had they offered green or blue calipers i would have gone green, then blue as 2nd choice (even if both may have clashed with the red), my dealer offered to paint them green, but the yellow is attractive enough for me not to do unofficial mods.
I may be alone, but I dislike painted callipers with a passion. Just reminds me of the 1990s with stty hot hatches with hammerite painted callipers.I've seen my exact car with red and yellow callipers, ruined it IMO.

was too young to drive in the 90's so no negative connotations with colored calipers for me!

No, I've seen my car (Vesuvio QV) with red callipers, and another with yellow callipers.

why are you wasting Italy's time on such trivial things that you easily verify on the UK configurator?
".............................................................At that time I hadn't discovered the configurator. No dealer had suggested it to me, and not only that, one dealer swore that Monza Red WAS available in the QF colour range, and stated that to be the colour of his demonstrator ( it later turned out to be a 4 cyl. Guilia )
Not only that, but AR Customer Care in Italy fell over themselves to be helpful ( I also had some other queries about the QF that I needed to clarify ). They returned all of my calls.
And, in any event, WTF has it got to do with you ? it's me that's spending nearly £70 k on the bloody thing . Have you even got one ?

I went and looked at that one before ordering the new one. Was very tempting but it has a slight whiff of cigarettes inside which I suspect will never go. I made a cheeky offer which was rejected.
They all have this and it does go. I am told it's down to the material used in the dash. Hemp i thinkwindymissile said:
Seems like a decent deal from ARUK. If this was the price for a fully spec'd car, I'd probably have one rather than waiting for a used one.

In fairness, there's not much missing from standard spec. Even if you paid cash for the steering wheel, paint and tele dial wheels, it would still be a decent price.WM

Agreed, they come really well kitted out. In fact, the standard bits (stereo, seats, brakes) all work as well or better than the upgrade options.
Worthy options are only really aesthetic (wheels/steering wheel/paint).....although the electric seating pack is well worth it.bloomen said:
Has anyone here sampled a manual example? I'm considering one of these but I just can't face an auto. I spend a fair bit of time in Europe so LHD isn't an issue anyway.
I've never had an auto sports car but having driven one of these there is no way I would have a manual. Go drive one!!!Gassing Station | Alfa Romeo, Fiat & Lancia | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
