Im in need of a few small bits for my sprint and cant find anywhere that has them - justsuds cant help and unfortunately alfasalv has met with a most unfortunate demise. If you know where I can get any of these bits let me know -

Windscreen washers
Indicator stalk
Glovebox lid
Gear knob.

Its off for its mot and tweaking at the moment. This will involve..
New springs + front shocks
Lots of welding
A bit of fun with the electrics.
cambelts

I already have the springs + shocks, so im hopeful it will be on the friendly side of £300....

I saw that, and I was just like noooooooooooooo....

Still, im happy with what I bought. Its off at the mechanics for the mot. On the way over there the stupid aftermarket gearknob came apart and the indicators stopped working cant wait to start using it daily.

I've got a garage full of old Sud bits and pieces, amongst which are some indicator stalks. Don't know if they are the same as the Sprint, but if they are mail me and I'll dig them out for you

So today I popped down to a guys place in gatwick who had a gearknob and glovebox lid i needed.

I came out with the gearknob + glovebox, 2 busted foglights, with covers , a front bumper, cigarette lighter and 5 alloys with tyres.

Something went a bit wrong there I think

Test again at a different place - one last bit of rust to eradicate and an idiot mechanic who couldnt find the horn so marked it as not working

Id just about calmed down after dropping the sprint off on my way home to have the welding done and a minor oil leak fixed, and being assured it will be ready for the mot retest.

Then I got home and found my insurance documents on the doormat. Direct Line have managed to ignore my written cancellation so havent transferred my ncb - big thanks. Also, this means that unless theyve cancelled it today, my temporary addition of the renault 5 to my policy means it will be insured in 2 places. Doah!

And people really werent kidding about adrian flux's forms - the modification form is a killer... I even have to specify what tyre is on each wheel! Thank god they are standard sizes, otherwise id have to find out who fitted them, their qualifications and what date they were fitted!
