Did you get a quote for a higher mileage contact? It will be better value than paying excess mileage.

The average person only drives ~7k miles a year, so an allowance of ~8k mpa for the Alfa (current offer) should be more than enough for most people. Especially if it's a second or weekend-only car.

Agreed, ask Beechdale for a quote for 10k or 15k mpa and see what they come back with.

Why buy now when Alfa themselves have confirmed the car is not how it should be and they will revise it soon?
The 4C Spider will not be updated until at least 2019, and some speculate it will be replaced altogether by a 6C model.

On a 2year lease for a 4C Spider, you know the fixed monthly price won't change, it will arrive right in time for Summer, and the price right now is a jolly good deal.

A fellow forum member was due to take over my lease but unfortunately didn’t pass the credit score.

Term finishes July 2019, £392 per month and it’s a white spider with some nice options (black wheels, leather dash/seats/etc, parking sensors, cruise). Also has the Alfaworks exhaust and suspension mod.

No need for any upfront payment unless you want to take the Alfa exhaust at a discounted price.

ETA: balance of 16k mileage allowance. Currently just over £3k.

Bumpety bump.

Anyone ordered a 4C recently? What delivery times are you being quoted?

Any orders now will be for the revised 2019 car although some old stock still in the network for immediate delivery?

They're still taking factory orders for 2018 Spiders. Wondering if anyone has ordered one recently and what delivery times they are being quoted.

What price are the 2019 cars and what’s the spec , I assume as you know they are taking orders you hopefully know or know someone who knows the answers.

Its an Alfa, so this day was bound to come!

I need to book my 4c in for some warranty work. I live in South Wales, the nearest garage in Bristol can't accommodate the 4c! The closest after that is T H White in Swindon. Anyone had any experience with these guys? Has anyone had warranty work done on the 4C, hassle or did they sort out accordingly?

Problems I'm having are a nasty sounding creak coming from front passenger suspension (I think?), only hear it at low speeds, but its very loud and annoying!

Also getting a leak in the Drivers footwell, water seems to trickle down on to the footrest? Not sure if this is from AC pipes or water is getting in somewhere, but my carpets and feet are getting a soaking!

Finally, the plastic protection film on my passenger side skirt has been breached by water and now has a large water filled bubble.

I ordered the car from Beechdale Derby, so I'm hoping T H White are able to look at it for me?

I'd think every Alfa dealer with a service department will have a master technician trained on the 4c?

Simonstone Bristol don't have "the facilities" apparently? Does it need a certain type of ramp maybe?

I've heard great things about Jamie and his company, although I don't think he can help with warranty work, and LEASYS insist on a main dealer service unfortunately.

TH White sales department were very good to deal with, I haven’t had any experience of their service department but it’s a very good set up there. You also have the option of 4C assist and they will collect the car and take it for repairs (sales staff at TH White actually recommended this to me as my local dealers
4C tech was on holiday)

Ive had an alternator bearing under warranty by my local dealer and it was sorted without issue. Let me know how you get on with the bubble under PPF as I also have this but haven’t chased it to be sorted.

How would this work if someone wanted to take over the lease? My concerns would lie when sending the car back if there are any damages I wasn't aware of.

Is it on PCP or PCH?

Insisting on a main-dealer service is legal for PCP, but illegal for PCH.

Its a lease, so is that Personal Contract Hire?

Illegal? I thought it was down to the terms and conditions set in the contract? I wouldn't blame them insisting on it being main dealer as I'm handing the car back to them? Unless I've got it confused?

Anyone else on a lease with LEASYS who can shed some light?
