I'm sure this has been discussed on here but what's the average 1st service cost that you've been quoted? Could I use Alfaworks for instance who are cheaper than main dealer or do I need to use the main dealer?
Been quoted £855.00 so far with supplying dealer.
If leased you must use the main dealer.Been quoted £855.00 so far with supplying dealer.
I was quoted £625 by Palmers in Hemel.

It's worth me driving from New Forest to them and waiting to save over £225.00.
Anyone had theirs done around this price nearer to Hampshire/Dorset?
The first service takes a long time , on the 2 I’ve had done the dealer wanted it for 2 days so check that before you consider waiting Anyone had theirs done around this price nearer to Hampshire/Dorset?
Might be worth using a lower price to see if your local dealer will drop his price.
Snows group have just taken on Alfa in Southampton so might be worth a call BUT make sure they have taken on a technician who’s up to speed and has worked on the 4C as it’s a tadge unique .
Morning all,
My friend has a 50th anniversary 4C Spider on the recent very short lived lease deal. 7 months in, 1700 miles and car in perfect condition.
Anyone want to take the lease on (apparently Alfa allow the lease to be transferred) PM me and I can put you in touch. Vehicle comes with 14300 miles left to drive and summer just about to come!

A question relevant to all lease cars but especially relevant to the 4C given the stories of how easy the Alfa red paint reportedly picks up stone chips....
Have any of the LEASYS cars been wrapped on the front to protect the car? I’m wondering how ‘aggressive’ the lease company will be on such matters at the end of 2 years where undoubtably there will be the odd blemish here and there.
Traditionally lease cars were collected, had the tyres kicked and then were delivered to BCA or similar to be sold sometimes same day.
Given the ‘exotic’ nature of the 4C i don’t really want to be given a £500 bill at the end....

If its a car to be delivered shortly the car will come with PPF already on the front , Bumper, Bonnet , Wings + Mirrors, Cill & Lower door. Just check the fit as mine I think was done in the dark, its the only excuse they could have had, It was all replaced under warranty & I paid for the rest of the car to be done as its a keeper Have any of the LEASYS cars been wrapped on the front to protect the car? No PPF on the front of mine collected end of January. There is some sort of film on the very lower part of the sill - but quite a bit thicker than PPF and not particularly nice looking! There is also the film on the door sill which I presume they all have.
I don't think I'm too worried about condition handing back - regardless of the type of car, it is still up to BVRLA guidelines for fair wear and tear.
I'm more worried about the plastic / rubber trim underneath the front bumper - I'm not sure how much of it will be left after 2 years

Ah interesting. Mine is one of the last Spiders to be produced. Due to me early July so it sounds like it should have some protection Moley RUFC said:

If you speak to your lease company they will send you a copy of their collection inspection booklet, detailing what is allowable and what is not. A certain number of small blemishes are normally allowable but you will likely be on the hook for anything more significant. If you know the criteria however, you can arrange your own 'smart' repairs to areas like paintwork and alloys pre-collection.Have any of the LEASYS cars been wrapped on the front to protect the car? Servicing will need to be done by a main dealer (inc the expensive first one).
Condition and history will have a greater impact on price than a 320d so expect a little more attention when its being collected.

Also if you have a 2 year lease you'll only need to get it serviced the once providing you delay the first service by a week or two.
You may get charged for it as it should have been doneAlso be mindful if you use it a lot servicing is annual or on mileage which I think is 12 or 12500 miles ,

I bought mine a year ago and was told it was std on all cars but as the previous poster got his in January without it may no longer be std, worth asking your dealer and if you want it see if it can be added on and if yes how cost compares with getting it done when it arrives yourself . I would definitely do it one way or another as they do chip easily , also the inner cill gets marked getting in and out so doing that is a good idea if it’s not done Stuart J said:

In all my time on the main lease thread nobody has said that they got charged for the second service. It technically isn't due whilst in your ownership if you delayed the first service by a day/week/fortnight.
