I love it. Even love it's flaws... other than one. I read all about the tramlining, alignment issue and Jamie's blocks that rectify it and I thought I'm sure everyone is just being oversensitive! It's bloody annoying. At motorway speeds I feel like the car could dive in any direction at any moment! Feels like one of the front wheels is lose, or that the wind it constantly blowing the car one direction to the next. Its quite unsettling to be fair! It's a 2 hands on the wheel and full concentration sort of car on the motorway!
I think a lot has to do with tyre pressure and run it exactly to the psi recommended. Also ask the dealer to carry out a wheel alignment check first off and see if it improves given you've just collected it.

When I collected mine I drove it 200 miles home mostly motorway and whilst the steering was 'very precise' got used to it after the first 50 miles and didn't noticed any urge to change direction on its own.

Fiat (Alfa) dealers are st so it doesn't surprise me they messed up the order. I have no confidence in the main dealer networks but wait to be proved wrong.

Mine is/was super well behaved on the motorway. so much so, i thought alfa had fixed the issue at the factory!

Jamie pointed out that it is skittish on uneven road surfaces, so sounds like you have a different issue.

Pulse, I think you need your alignment checked.

The cars post 2016 do not wander anywhere near as much as the early cars.

One guy had a squeaky wishbone and had that changed along with alignment and it was like a different car after that.

Thanks for the advice. Should a dealer check the alignment for free?

I'll also check tyre pressures. Anyone know what pressure the standard 17/18's should be?

Should be 1.8 bar on the front and 2.0 bar on the rear.

Novated the lease on my 4C spider last week.

Really miss the car but glad it has gone to a new owner, and i have the coupe to use!

Can't think of a deal like this lease deal that has ever come up before.

Sincere thanks to all the pistonheads who contributed to this thread!
Good to hear. It was a shame the car and deal couldn’t work for me. That said I went for a sneak peak at mine with Paul Jones at Alfa Chesterfield on Saturday. Collect here at the end of the month (I’m trading the kids in as part of the deal)

If anyone has at least approx. 18 months or more left on a lease, I would also be interested, could do some cash your way, for the right deal. Could move quickly on this for a black or red car, any spec, as long as it’s got parking sensors! Have been in touch with Ben, he’s not offering the lease anymore.

Question for anyone that has a LEASYS 4C, any idea what the rules are on tyre's? I can't find my agreement anywhere :/

I've done almost 7k miles and my rears are starting to look a little thin tread wise. I'm tempted to swap them now whilst they are still legal, switch tyre brands (I'm fancying Michelin pilot super sports) and then keeping the originals to stick back on when the lease is done so I don't get any issues with return spec (or would they accept the Michelins anyway?)

Whats the minimum tyre tread required for return of the car?

I just replaced the Soft AR racing rear Pirelli’s at 10k, went for Pilot 4s also.

No issues with returning with Michelin’s, they just need to be legal tread and EU certified as far as I know.

The 4c lease with leasys is just like any other lease, there are published fair wear and tear guidelines that lease companies adhere to. All seems quite leaniant, I’d be mortified if my 4c had any of the acceptable damage the guidelines show!

The 4S aren't available for the front wheels so I wouldn't advise mixing different brand tyres front a rear.
