Coupe in stock to collect, worth checking if it exists or sold already https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/main-dealer...

£8,806.20 total
9+23 8k Miles p/a
£2,835.40 initial payment
£259.60 Per Month, INC VAT

Please take it, so I can't take it. It's very tempting but I have no space to keep it.

Rang up, none available at that price as they all have optional extras.

Got offered a coupe for £349 on 9 + 23 for 5k miles with £5k worth of optional extras. Not a bargain in my opinion but they say they sold 4 in the last hour so someone is snapping them up.

Just placed a deposit on a coupe. Delivery expected early 2018.

Spec:
18, 19" wheels in black
Colour to be decided (currently Giallo Prototipo - Yellow)

Anyone interested in figures can PM me.

Anyone have any input in regards to yellow vs. Alfa red? I'm undecided.
Can't PM you, says you won't allow emails.

From our quotes, I'd guess you were paying £30 a month for the wheels and £40 extra for the colour choice (yellow comes with leather according to the website). So perhaps £320 on 9 +23 for 6k pa?

Fair play, I missed that post.

Who are people using for insurance quotes? My current insurers have told me that the V5 needs to be in my name and the car needs a tracker before they can insure me.

Just turned that option on.

You also don't allow emails so could not mail you.

Other threads/forums seem to mention Chris Knott, Adrian Flux and AIB insurance.

Cheapest quote for me so far is £540 though LV

10k miles
Parked on the road
Commuting
1 no fault accident
3 points

Interesting to note that unless it's stored in a locked garage, parking on the road was the cheapest option

Checking to see what mult car deals are out there

That's not bad, £11,168 for a car with £5K extra options.

VS my deal, it's 3k extra over 2 years for 1k less miles per annum. So you're paying about £3.5k for those options. But it's in stock, no 6 month wait!

Mangolesti have a bargain in stock Spider with 3.5k options advertised on CHL - 6+23 £289 per month now. Has anyone spoke to them about that car? The coupe deal mentioned earlier has now changed - why advertise as in stock but put a price for a vehicle with different/no options!

These deals are bonkers, you can't even get a Mito Veloce 6+23 on there for that money.

Do you have to add the £3500 extras to the overall cost of the lease. Maybe those figures are based on a standard car with no options like the coupe deal mentioned earlier.

LV quoted me just over £2000. That's with the following criteria

29 years old. Clean license with 7 years ncb
1 no fault claim from 08/2012
6k miles
Commuting
Parked on driveway
Leeds postcode

Tried Moneysupermarket a few days ago and cheapest quote was £1500, checked now and it's risen to £2000? I paid £900 for my Lexus ISF and then £60 more when I switched to a highly modified Evo X. Guess I need to make some calls to a few brokers sharpish!

Can you let me know how you get on with other insurers as I am being quoted similar numbers!

So far Admiral are the cheapest for me at £1650

Longshot but try calling https://www.rhspecialistinsurance.co.uk/car-insura... I have some classics also and they are unbeatable for those (I've paid less that £80 a year for low mileage policies with them), I didn't think about them when I was getting quotes but their webpage says they do exotics, rare and instant classics!

Well guys you are all in for a treat, woke up this morning like a kid at xmas. Headed over to Variava to be greeted with a showroom full of Spiders.

Perfect day for a spider so roof was immediately removed- might need to invest in some sun cream!!

First impressions it is everything you would hope it to be! I have been fairly gentle so far but even at low speeds you still enjoy the mini super car experience!

I did open it ups few times and it doesn't disappoint - huge shove from behind that I just didn't have in my V6 brera!

Apparently it's self limited to 80% power whilst bedding in so can't use dynamic mode yet. Should be up to full power after 3k I think they said!

Hugely frustrating. Lots of dealers taking deposits and approving finance before confirming they have no ability to supply cars that price anywhere near the attractive deals.

Beginning to lose my faith and wonder if this was all a big PR scam.

Two dealers don't bother returning calls, third keeps changing the story in terms of what's available. Lured in by promises of the good deals and then expectations managed.

My views on the car sales industry (or at least Alfa) just went a few notches lower.

Congrats to anyone who was able to secure a good deal. I don't mind missing out but just frustrated that they aren't being straight about what's available.

Who are the lots of dealers that took deposits, approved finance and then had none available? The only one I've heard of is Unity back in March.

There is no evidence that any of the recent deals wont be honoured - indeed, quite the opposite.

Stock levels are low and, for such good deals, whats available noe may not be whats available if you call back in 15 minutes. For the best lease deals, you can't procrastinate - you need to put the deposit down on the same call as you're given a price.

Basically, the reason the dealer keeps changing the story in terms of what's available is that the story keeps changing in terms of whats available- plain and simple.

I've had deposits/finance approved from two. V keen to get process organised but no commitment on cars being available at the advertised (low) prices. They're happy to apply supply spec'd cars where the total cost is substantially higher than the £250-399 which was advertised.

Anyway, I guess I'm just grumpy that they weren't honest/upfront about availability of cars before making me go through the motions on finance/etc.

Rang my existing insurers (Sky Insurance) back for a fresh quote. £775, result. Means I can keep the policy on the Evo active until I sell the car.

Congratulations, it looks superb. I was under the impression that you have to drive it sensibly for 250 miles and then you can switch into dynamic mode? That's what I saw from some reviews too.

I can relate given that I filled in the finance forms with one dealer and was then told the car was no longer available. The deal I went with ended up being more than the one I missed out on but I was itching for one so went ahead with it. I'm glad I managed to get one in the end. Have Chris Variava not managed to source you a stock car?

Chris Variava not coming back, and I'm getting tired of constantly chasing them. Shame, as I've been ready to go since last week.
