The Alfa Romeo 4C lease thread
Discussion
Just to get a little positivity in here. If Alfa are advertising discounts on their cars I have a feeling they are a little desperate to shift the stock and may be flexible to reach an agreement with Thames?
If the 4C is not moving I'd imagine it makes business sense to at least sell the ones you have offers for?
Maybe im clutching at straws here.

Just heard an advert on the radio that Alfa Romeo are currently running a promotion for orders submitted by end of September (ties in with build slots we have been advised of) with a deposit contribution of £2500 odd on top of any running offers. Excludes PCH but does this mean that Alfa are a little desperate to shift stock and thus increases our orders being fulfilled?
Food for thought or maybe i'm just reading in to things a little too much.

- I am in no way affiliated to Alfa Romeo and any figures posted above may or may not be correct. Terms and Conditions apply.
For all the Thames bargain hunters, when realistically does everyone feel we will know for sure if we're getting a car or not? Are we going to have to wait until August/September when they start building the cars?
It's hard to plan financially, plus I must spend at least an hour a day visiting this thread sniffing out updates!

Yeah I'm happy to wait until August / early Sept for a build number etc but after that I will be a little more nervous as I will need to order something else if it falls through.

Thames called me about a week ago just to say everything was all ok and looking good.
Have no reason to think otherwise as I had already expressed my concerns and he said don't listen to anything unless it's from him...
As I mentioned a few pages back, apparently all OK from the Thames end.Have no reason to think otherwise as I had already expressed my concerns and he said don't listen to anything unless it's from him...
I'm happy sitting on it for now, just mean if I haven't had anything more concrete by September that's when I will worry a little more as my current lease goes back in December.
Hi all
I am currently in the market for an Alfa 4C coupe on a PCH. Doesn't have to be a new car or factory build and not looking for any major options, just black 18/19" 5 hole alloys. I've seen some people talking about a £249pm on a 9+23 term. Does this deal exist or anything close and who should I speak to?

The deal DID exist but has now gone up significantly to £399pm on a 9+23 term:I am currently in the market for an Alfa 4C coupe on a PCH. As you're probably aware, adding options usually negates how good value some lease deals can be because the options are usually paid for in full, despite handing back the vehicle after 2 years. However, there are three optioned up stock vehicles on the above page too that you may want to consider.
Another deal referenced on this thread is the one below. I'm not sure how accurate this deal is but it could be worth a call. The £3500 additional options referred to are likely to include the upgraded alloys if the deal is above board.

IIRC Mangoletsi were asking for a deposit before they would even discuss figures. Somewhat strange business practice. Another vote for Chris Variava. They were brilliant for me.
On a sidenote, how are you anniversary owners getting on with your cars? Has anyone experienced any musty smells from the aircon? Not sure if it's due to them being in storage for a while but mine smells a tad when the AC is switched on.
Just ticked over to 1000 miles, guess I will need to look into increasing the mileage allowance at this rate.

I'm told a glut of cars so look out for more promotions.
Problem seems to be too many attracted by the romantic idea of a 4C, but then wanting out of it quite quickly as not an easy car to live with.
Alfa have mis-read demand, and used cars are sticking.
It's no harder to live with than similar sports cars . Guess it's people buying not really having researched it to well . Problem seems to be too many attracted by the romantic idea of a 4C, but then wanting out of it quite quickly as not an easy car to live with.

Got pulled over today and slap on the wrist for the small front number plate variava supplied. What is the least ugly legal number plate option?
A full sized slightly scratched plate in the boot is the best bet, with sticky pads on it that are no longer tacky. "sorry officer it fell off this morning"

Interesting article on the ending of the coupe production :O
