Any signs of a Q4 lease deal yet?
I woud have been in my 4C for a month if the unity deal didn't fall through frown

Ok thanks. It’s only when parking or manoeuvring.
Parking I agree is a pain as it won't creep like most autos I've driven so moving a small distance is a pain but it does get easier as you get more practice

How much of an issue are speed humps for the 4c?

There's quite a few around where I work, the ramp style and blobs in the middle of the road. Angle and speed the key I'm guessing? Rush hour commuters are going to love me nono

Hopefully they're fine as I've the same to deal with. Let us know how you get on when you get it. I didn't go for the 18/19" wheel upgrade so things may be more difficult on the 17/18" wheels.

I'm holding off on ringing Thames for an update in the hope that we get some news later this week.

Will do, it's going to be sharing my daily duties with my battered 07 fiesta. I don't even slow down for speed humps in that thing so I'll have to leave a little earlier to make work on time in the 4C!

Spoke to Peter when I cancelled my order, he's still very confident the deals will materialize, and was apologetic that he couldn't get me anything concrete sooner. Fingers crossed he'll come through for you!

Usually OK & if you take them at an angle its ok on the bigger ones although it does annoy people off when you need the full width of the road., with the blob ones I usually move to the middle of the road so as one wheel goes over each

Biggest issue Ive had is with roads that slope down onto a main road where you sometimes catch the nose, same coming in & out of some Filling stations & ramps into Hotel Car parks etc where the angle changes suddenly.

There's a small vertical piece of black rubbery plastic that hangs down under the front , I guess an air diffuser & that's what you will usually catch on speed bumps, sounds bad inside rthe car but it is very flexible

Thanks for the heads up! I live in the South Wales valleys were there's slopes a plenty so that'll be interesting!

Picked mine up on Saturday, and all I can say is WOW!!!

The car is every bit as mental as I was hoping! It's not for the faint hearted but I think I can daily it without too much issue. I do have the shed fiesta to fall back on just in case.

Haven't had chance to take pics or anything yet, been having too much fun driving it!

They are very special although I still haven't heard of anyone managing to sell one on via a Private Sale. Presume almost all cars are either being leased on bought via PCP so as can be handed back at a known cost in the future? I think the residual value on these will ultimately be quite good but quite a few being dropped on the market meantime.

Well done guys on securing some great deals recently, let's see some collection pictures. I nearly bought the yellow coupe that alfaaddict bought but thought the yellow looked too pale in the pictures the dealer sent me. Looked like a briiliant spec with leather dash etc and has the spider style lights which I much prefer. Will keep looking

I appreciate this isn’t directly related to a 4c, but may be of interest to those who couldn’t secure one at a decent price.

The downside is it’s from Mangoletesi, who from personal experience I found less that stellar to deal with.

However, seeing as it’s a good deal (or at least seems to be. Hopefully less “seems” than their Alfa one...) I thought I’d share it.

Abarth spider 1600 deposit, 180 for 24 months. Didn’t say mileage.

Less than 6k for 2 years motoring seems decent!

Spoken to them about this deal already. It's 5k miles for the quoted deal. £8 a month per extra 1k miles.

Tempted but is the car any good? Driven a 4C and still would really like one of those ideally.

Seems like a very good deal on the Abarth, I think a lot of reviewers seem to like them, EVO gave the car 4 stars. They don't seem as exotic or as focused as the 4c to me though but would probably be a lot more comfortable as a daily

Isn't it a rejigged MX-5?

Not really on the same page.

Engine is very easily tuneable (I got a massive torque increase in a 500 abarth which made a huge difference to how fast it felt on the road) and whilst I’m not saying this is directly comparable to a 4c in looks, pedigree, performance or desirability, it would stack up to a decent driving and ownership proposition at a relatively modest outlay.

With a remap the power, and the weight out of the box, aren’t a million miles part.

Probably a better proposition as a daily as well.

Would you remap a leased car though?
