Anybody tried anything different to standard, i.e ranging from a basic back box to the full monty including manifolds.
I know Supersprint do a cat replacement pipe and associated pipe work including back box. Anybody tried it?

What about suspension. Is the Rhoddy Harvey-Bailey modded Bilsteins and blue springs the way to go rather than your run of the mill one size fits all lowering kits etc.

Appreciative of any feedback.

There's been a lengthy "mass debate" on AO about the HBE suspension kit:

zorsts, www.haywardandscott.co.uk, they make the aftermarket stuff for autodelta and they badge it up as their own (allegedly) i had a custom zorst made by them for the SLK, great job and they do what you want !

Thanks for the replies.
Read the posts in full and reckon the EB Spares (RHB kit)is worth a try.
Considered Hayward and Scott before, have a good reputation, only JP Exhausts in Macclesfield is just about as far as i would want to travel in a day.

Anybody fitted ARB's? Have looked in Demon Thieves but non appear to be listed for the V6 except GTA.

You could buy in a manifold/system from somewhere like EB Spares or Autodelta and ask Wyn Lear to fit it for you.

Thought the only Alfa garage in Keighley had disappeared, as the place i remember taking a 3 year old Alfasud 1.5 Ti to for new wishbones under a recall (beer mats holding the rusted headlamp mounts in place), is now a glazing shop.

No problem with fitting as i have my own 4 post ramp.

Might get him to do the cambelt etc though.

Wyn's place is the original dealership from the 1960's. Round the back of the bus station. Bit tricky to find but well worth it.

Yeah that's where the glazing firm is.
Lived in Bradford at the time i had the Alfasud, so didn't know Keighley that well then.
I'll call in for a chat next week if i get chance.

Found him, its opposite the glazing shop.
Ordered some bits and pieces and booked the car in for the cambelt!
His son also works for one of the TVR Tuscan race teams.
