Love the colour combo. I would if you can, get one as close to your spec as possible that is already in the dealer accessible stock, that way you should save ££££. I just got mine on a great PCP deal and under 40k no sunroof and a few other boys you list but overall well worth keeping in low tax bracket I feel
Iain
Its the total list price that matters now, not the actual price you pay, for the extra tax to kick in - so at £38,260 before options it very easy to get it over £40kIain

Agree with this, it depends how set you are on your exact spec. I normally get my cars like this (Compromise on a couple of options usually) but save a ton of money on the deal.
Using carwow I think I can get it for about £35,600 in my spec, but see comment above re. taxAlso bear in mind it's £40k RRP, not the 'on the road price'.
This takes the first year's tax, registration fee and potentially delivery fee off, which according to Alfa's price list is about an £895 difference, making the RRP £37039.

Just allows for a few more extras, but I'd definitely confirm exactly what constitutes the RRP ... some sources reckon RRP includes delivery.

To be fair it rides well as it is. Nice and flat around corners, but realtively smooth over bumps etc.
Plus you can't turn the traction control fully off, so it may negate the need for an LSD.
I initially wanted the performance pack and didn't want to buy a Veloce without it. I'm glad I dropped it and went for some nicer alloys, metallic paint etc.

However, I would also be tempted to just take the standard wheels and source some of the lovely 19” teledials that every other country has available apart from the UK - I know Giulia owners are doing this very easily and I’m sure you could recoup some of the outlay by moving the original wheels on. The 5 hole alloys that we can upgrade to are ok, but not a patch on those.
When I specced my Veloce, I thought the packs were pretty poor value in general simply because the Veloce is already so well equipped meaning that a good chunk of the equipment within some of the packs was already on the car as standard.
It’s a shame we don’t get those lovely wheels...

Where are people getting the 19's from?
The Veloce is annoyingly the only model in the Giulia range to use runflats - I'm guessing these are horrendously expensive in 19 inch form, they're bad enough in 18's!
I've been tempted to buy some winter tyres for the Giulia after attempting to get it moving in the snow earlier in March, but it's now tempting to spend the money on some lovely wheels instead ... Then I could put some winter tyres on the 18s and swap them out later in the year. Hmmmm.

All Giulia come with run flats.
Ned at Autolusso for the wheels by the way
I didn't know that ... Not a fan of runflats but the ride in the Giulia so far has really impressed.Ned at Autolusso for the wheels by the way
I won't be buying 19"s then! Had an absolutely horrific experience with Autolusso in the past. I'd have to be forced at gunpoint to give them any money again.

Soooo ... I've ended up buying a Veloce today.
Amazing deal from Beechdale in Derby, financed at 1.5%. I own my current car outright so it's free'd up a bit of cash for me too which will help with my impending wedding.
Ended up taking one they had in stock as it was really close to the spec I wanted. Still kept it under £40k, pick it up next week.
Brand new Stromboli Grey with the 5 hole alloys, opulent red leather interior and red calipers with tinted rear windows. It's beautiful.
Happy to share the deal over pm if anyone wants more info.
