Realistically - Anywhere between £1,000 and £4,000 depending on condition plus where you advertise and how well you word the advert. I have seen totally mint ones go for 6-7,000 but they are concours.

Hang onto it - the 8V is the original Integrale and they are slowly disappearing. It won't depreciate any more - in fact over the last year they've gone up a bit.

Not that I'm biased or anything

Not mine. 'Twas on Ebay. Looked like reasonable condition but the rust was starting to take hold around one of the wiper mounting points on the scuttle.

It got to about 1700 iirc but failed to make the reserve.

If they are getting rare perhaps I should not be even vaguely contemplating such a thing for a disposable track car?

If you want a track car and want an integrale but are reluctant to pick a "rarity" you could look at the 8v Kat which are imports and usually worth less cos they tend to lack history etc. Essentially, as I understand it, it's the 8v engine with 16v running gear (rear biased drive although they snap away quickly)

Is the bodywork condition that important for a track car? I ask only cos you'll find they are notorious for going at the scuttle/front windscreen and above the rear hatch. Those that don't suffer this will have been maintained very well, probably pushing up the asking price.

They're all LHD in case you didn't know...no offence, I'm assuming possibly you didn't cos you mentioned it originally.

Apologies if you know all this already, I'm a newbie to the site and don't know who knows what!

HTH

After having seen what Lanciachris has posted up, it actually was an 8v Kat anyway.

Be very glad you missed out on that - did you miss the fact that its blatantly had a battery leak and noones done anything about it? I darent think about how bad that actually is....

Hah - agreed.

To be honest I had not studied all the pics in large detail when I asked the question. Did subsequently and saw the apparent state of the inner wing and thought the same as you. In any case I felt the price had reached a high enough level despite the reserve not being challenged.

Tres Bien,

Um, yes, my mistake. Bit of brain fade, I did know they are all LHD but it didn't register in the brain as I made the post.

Didn't know the other details though so thanks for that.

In reality I have been thinking about something 'interesting' that might be a blast for a few months and then disposable. In which case body condition is less important - but the price has to be good to justify it and the thing would need to be OK mechanically. Trouble is if the body has not been monitored perhaps the rest has not either.
