Alfa 159 2.4 throttle issue

Hi

I've just bought a 159 2.4 that needed a clutch and flywheel which we have now done. Unfortunately, when it gets warm, the engine 'hunts' and won't maintain constant revs at idle.

Any ideas?

Hi! It sounds egr related, ave you searched the forums on AO for lumpy idle, there should be lots about it.

Mines been blanked amongst other bits and has been lots better for it,
