I'd say the larger wheels, race exhaust, rear PDC and NOT racing suspension (unless you intend to track it). Leather dash gets rid of the horrible plastic and despite the leather/alcantara sports seats being the most expensive seat option I prefer all leather. Don't get the cloth only seats.
Spot on

Comoetizone Red is a safe bet for resale and imho looks the best although grey is classy. cruise control I feel is a must have , it’s just to easy to go far to quickly on long journeys , red calipers are nice.

Race Exhaust nice but not essential as the alfaworks aftermarket is better so if your looking at a car without race that ticks the other boxes don’t let that rule it out

Re suspension I’ve found non race pretty good on the track but haven’t been in a car with race and wouldn’t want anything stiffer than the non race for general road, especially with the state of our roads ( cart tracks )

I had cloth only seats in the first car and whilst I think they breathed better in hot weather they were a xxxx!! To keep clean so agree I would avoid

I had 2 with the spider lights , on the first car which was an early one they were useless , even bigger bulbs didn’t really help , on the one I got a year ago they are rather good

Thankfully the fkin great grin comes std whatever spec you have
Thanks, Stuart.

So it sounds like cruise, parking sensors, full leather seats are "good to haves" and race exhaust and leather dash would be "nice to haves."

I think cruise and PDC were no-cost options so shouldn't be too difficult to find.

On Early cars they were a cost option, on my first one ( 64 plate ) I paid 420 for save the bumper sensors & 260 for save the licence cruise , I even got charged 25 for a cup holder but got that as its ideal for sunglasses in a case .

What do you consider to be the "right" spec for a 4C?
Pretty much what the others have said.

Big wheels, PDC, Cruise, Leather (The tan seats are amazing!) with either Madreperla Bianco or Competizione Rosso...
Leather dash is a must in my opinion. But only available on 2016 cars onwards.

Agree, leather dash is an a must-have. Shame the European cars didn’t get leather door cards also, like in the US.

In case anyone is looking, I have a white spider which was leased from Alfa Romeo. Liked it so much I bought a coupe.

The lease can be novated to another person, I’m happy to write-off my upfront payment so just needs someone to take over the monthlies (£392/month). Good spec and 8k miles per annum, about 5.6k done so far. Lease ends July 2019.

Have had a few people contact me; unfortunately 2 failed credit and the 3rd wanted to renegotiate after passing credit.

Anyway, if anyone is interested pls let me know. Else will just enjoy it now that the sun has come out! smile

Personally now I'd scrap the race exhaust, get a standard and then put the Alfaworks on it

It sounds ok but Im not a huge fan of how it looks with the 45 degree exits.

Who else is still awaiting their 4C? Just had word from the dealer mine is finished and ready to be delivered, I believe mine was the final build slot - there were 2 slots when I enquired, 1 of which was pending booking. So looks like that's all of them built.

Me! My Spider is still on build week 16......was due in July but not sure at the moment. When did you order yours?

Nice! I ordered my coupe the last week of February, looks like it will be delivered a lot sooner than expected - dealer originally said July. I see the coupe has disappeared from the Alfa website - but the spider remains. What was build availability of the spider like when you ordered? I assume the spider is being withdrawn shortly if not already as well?

I understood both versions were being withdrawn at the same time

Alfa 4c still listed on the US Alfaromeo site. I’m assuming it’s just run out cars or have they carried on for a little longer for America . Anyone know anything on this ??

Prices seemed to have firmed up in recent months. Friend of mine has been looking for one for awhile and noticed that the cars offered in the mid-late £30s around Easter are all now in the £40s.
