If you live in the midlands it’s likely it will be stolen.

But your saying at somepoint 3 or even 4 of you will be in it.

My sons 11 so not a big deal and there is only 3 of us max.

My concern is a jilting ride.

I've had this on a Type R. I binned that car within 3 weeks.
The family car is a SUV so I think 4 of us would be in it never. 2 occasionally if we were popping out, 3 rarely. My wife is 5ft 5 and im 6ft1, i sat in back of a 500 (before deciding its poverty spec and totally underpowered...), ok for leg room, head touching roof for a 30 min trip is do-able

Ive got an Ariel atom so comfort/noise is all relative! wobble

After only 6 weeks with the Abarth I’m moving on already. Shortest honey moon period with any car, but a number of niggling faults and a constant uphill fight with dealer to try and fix it has soured the whole experience for me. It’s going back again this week to try and sort the EML which is still lit… there’s a potential I can reject it if they fail to fix it again, but if not I’ll pawn it off onto WBAC and take the hit.
Did you manage to get the EML issue sorted? I have a 2019 595 Comp and mine came on a few weeks ago. The error code P0441 (although Abarth don't recognise this code) links back to the fuel system and can be one of a few issues (including the fuel cap). Mine in particular has been linked back to the fuel evaporation value which is faulty, so it's going back in next week to have the valve, canister and lines replaced.

OK it's nuts, it made me giggle. Yes the seats are alittle short on width but I didn't find them ''tall" and I'm 6ft2 but that exhaust! Could I live with the car daily?

Just bought a 16 plate comp, went for a blatt around the Peak yesterday, that Monza exhaust note is infectious. Ride was a bit skittish especially on roads with a camber. The seats are a little unforgiving but hold you well.

Interior is quite nice with no rattles to speak of. Its a fun car the delivers bags of power, very much a point and squirt machine. Although it has a couple of annoying little things such as the 500 badge on the boot next to the 595 badge, the auto dim system on the instrument is just daft but apart form that I love the little thing.

Can I ask what spec it has and what u paid?

The WBAC valuation on mine is only a couple of grand less than I paid at the moment. The used car market is crazy.

I like the reminders it’s a 500 on the dash and boot handle.

black with yellow calipers, Sabelts, full service history. Not tinkered with so pretty much standard.
Got a good trade on my old car, sticker price was 11,500.

Carparion cheap lease Esseesse just arrived... my initial impression is its like going back to my renault 5 campus in 1990, built from old tin cans/bottle tops!

Seriously, its quite a gokart. The alcantara/carbon wheel is lovely, so are the Sabelt seats. Konis are v firm, im fine with apart from the worst speed bumps. Long journeys and i will take the family car. The LSD is a hoot esp on wet bends where you can whip out v little torque steer. 5 speed box meh. Cant see point of carbon backed seats as you never see them. The exhaust is just plain yobo... I went into a multistory and reversed into a space jesus! Got home and a builder next door couldnt believe it was std, said it sounded epic! Def attracts people wanting a traffic light gp....

How long did it take start to finish from paying admin fee to delivery?

What's it like so far day to day I.e. does the ride grate or surprisingly OK.

I found mine was comfortable for doing 15k a year. The small tank was more of an irritation as it wouldn’t last long. It was efficient but with a 35L tank it didn’t last long.

Sorry cant give you the usual timeframe - we sent our old lease back then went away for 2 weeks, got the abarth delivered a few days later so probaby 6/7 weeks in total. Paperwork and finance with carparison was v easy

Ride v firm on konis but being new it feels "tight". Depends on your local road and where you usually go its fine for us. Weve got an etron so wont be doing long journeys in it. The missus was away in audi so went 3 up and made my 6ft 3 son get in the back today to pop out for breaky, he had a right mardy! Swapped younger son to the back on way home and harmony was restored.

Missus took the abarth out this arvo, she giggled like a teenager and loves it reminding her of her saxo vtr when she was 20 (she loves the etron too, they really are chalk and cheese).

I need to clean the white wheels already. They may have to be burned....

18 months,14000 miles, I can't wait to go back to a comfy car.....iMy commute is basically 7 miles of b roads at a push sub B if thats a thing, then M/Way. 40 minutes in total, which is 40 minutes of basically getting shouted at while a person slaps you, while the wipers seek like a fker.

Its defo getting squeakier and a bit rattly-er (?), I was underneath the other day as it was up a ramp and I really don't fancy the longevity of these. There was surprising amount of surface rust. And I can assure you, mine is fastidiously looked after......

Just thought I would report back since changing the suspension on mine.

So, to recap I had Vmaxx coilovers fitted along with some 20mm, or so, wheel spacers. The ride height was way too low especially for some of the roads over here in the Isle of Man. There was also quite a bit of negative camber on the rear but it was only when I measured it that I found it to be -3 degrees. No wonder the tyre inners were worn.

Anyway, I fitted Koni FSD dampers with lowered Eibach springs. Kept the lowered rear bump stops already fitted. Also, took the wheel spacers off and investigated the excessive rear camber. Thought someone must have had fitted two sets of camber plates (1.5 degrees a time) but it was much more simple than that. It had a load of washers packed in to reach the desired effect. Needless to say said washers have now been removed.

The car is so much better to drive now. Can actually drive it where I want without having to keep my eyes glued to the road for anything that would have made it graunch before. The handling is a bit more bouncy but it is a trade-off I am more than willing to accept.
