Abarth 595 Competizione as a daily?

I am on my fifth, a 595c Competizione Series 4. Two 500c's, one 595c 160hp, one 595c 180hp Series 3 and now this.
I embarked on a bespoking programme which has continued in the last 3 years, and fourth year about to end. Due to me wanting to keep it for a very long time, I put down a deposit on a Skoda Citigo which will fulfill its duties as a daily runner to keep miles off the Abarth.
Abarth is going electric in 2023 so it's uncharted waters for the brand.
Like the dash and the rear pipage. Nice.I embarked on a bespoking programme which has continued in the last 3 years, and fourth year about to end. The Abarth configurator now shows available colours as red, white, black and two greys. No blues, no yellow and no green. That’s it!
Checked with two dealers and both confirmed that these are the “new” colours going forward. Stellantis cost cutting? Either way that’s a boring range of colours.

They’ve only just released that matte blue colour can’t be chopped already? Checked with two dealers and both confirmed that these are the “new” colours going forward. Stellantis cost cutting? Either way that’s a boring range of colours.

Yes matte blue has gone ,lasted all of five minutes. Tbh there's lots they should of done to improve the car that wouldnt of cost the earth (but didn't) and I wouldn't be surprised unless they release a 500e Abarth the brand goes dormant in the next 5 years.

Maybe it's a vocal minority but people are still ordering new cars. But I wonder Abarth are in a bad shape and simplifying to reduce production cost.

I imagine a 500e Abarth is almost certainly going to happen, given they don't have to spend much money to get some practically guaranteed sales and it provides a nice little halo effect. What other Fiat models are ever likely to enjoy the same link makes it very questionable as to whether it needs to be a brand or a mere trim level. But I don't know how much a dealership having an additional sign up, some badgework and different stationery constitutes a brand or that much expense anyway.Tbh there's lots they should of done to improve the car that wouldnt of cost the earth (but didn't) and I wouldn't be surprised unless they release a 500e Abarth the brand goes dormant in the next 5 years.
The very slightest separation from being a Fiat is all that needs to prevail to make it work. I think the moment it starts having a FIAT badge on it, the magic is gone for a lot of people.
If they're not going to do one with the 500e, I doubt it'll get anywhere close to 5 years.
I think as tiny EVs go, the 500 is the most convincing one out there, and if that came out with a body kit and a bit more punch it's hard to see how it wouldn't sell given the appetite for the outgoing one in its very very old age. When it comes to proverbial polishing, I think they've made a little go a very long way for a very long time so they must fancy their chances. It can't all be about the exhaust note for everyone.
Question for owners of recent-ish 595 Competizione models: do the back seats fold flat if you have those lovely Sabelt buckets fitted?
I'm looking to buy a 2018-on Competizione or Esseesse, and wondered if the shape/size of those beautiful Sabelt seats stop the rear seats laying flat when you fold them forward. I don't carry people in the back of my cars, but I do sometimes drop the rear seats for extra luggage space.
Any info on this much appreciated - cheers!

Yes they do. If you have them all the way back you will need to remove the rear headrests.
