Hey all,

Finally decided on a 595 to go with my x3m comp. This will be for city driving and the Mrs commute. What are the things I should be looking out for? And auto box, thoughts?

They're such an event when you head out though.

My exotic trips yesterday were to the pharmacy and the driving range but still managed to have a fun drive!

Not according to them- I’m not sure I trust them anyway so more than happy to get a kit and get someone else to Fit it.

Models: 500, ABARTH, PUNTO ABARTH
Engines: 1.4 TB
Frequency: Every 72,000 or 4 years
Includes Water Pump Replacement
Good job I’ve got an OEM. kit arriving on tomorrow.
Definately not in the UK. 6 years is fine. These engines are pretty easy on the timing belt too so you aren't pushing your luck leaving it that late. i'll be doing mine next summer (6.3 years since manufacture)

How can you check what bhp the car is pushing out without going to a remap place?

Rolling road is the only real way.

A comp is listed as standard 180.

Mine was pushing just under 190 before mapping.

Why do you want to know?

Lately wondering is it 180. It doesn't feel it. At work I've driven a variety of cars and it's not got the same kick.

From what I’ve seen 180bhp was conservative and they were closer to 190bhp for the early series 4’s anyway.

Turbo lag? Engine is on 14k and generally doesn't often go close to redline

Turbo lag doesn't just appear. Redline is where you’ll get power.

Add me to the list! Bought a 2017 Comp firm my sister last week. It's not exactly what I wanted (!) as I really wanted a V8 before they disappear, but there we go, maybe next time...

Has the carbon Sabelts, unsure about LSD. Just had cambelt and new battery (I fitted the new battery, and a replacement exterior door handle hinge thingy)

A bit more of an event than my outgoing Corsa VXR, especially as the exhaust is stuck open...

If you have the carbon sabelts - chances are it’s a PP car with the LSD.

Is an an early 2017 car?

Carbon seats, aerial delete, supersports wheels are some of the give away a for a PP car.
