Booked in for cambelt later in the month - going to The Abarth Workshop in Royston.
Wish they were a bit closer as I'd use them for the Abarth when I get it, always took my Alfa 159TBi to them as they were great. As an aside Pidsy you seem to know Abarth, is it possible (relatively easily anyway) to retrofit the Scorpion Plug type aerial in place of the standard aerial please? Done a google and can't find any answers...suggests it can't be done without a lot of pain?
It still goes in the same hole!
Mine came plugged so I haven’t done it but I would imagine that the headlining would need to come out to do the job properly.
Looking on TMC’s website - they sell OEM plugs and they are bolt through.
Worth bearing in mind you’ll need to add a DAB aerial one removed. IIRC the default position is in the rear window.
Someone will correct or confirm shortly I’m sure.

No it’s not a simple swap as the aerial was moved to the rear passenger window so it’s a blank rather than an aerial. Regarding normal vs sport, it adjusts the throttle pedal sensitivity and steering sensitivity and raises boost.

Hi All
Just touching upon the aerial button, does anyone have this installed with the Sat Nav option?
Picked up a 2018 Comp a few weeks ago with the Aerial button installed, the Sat Nav doesn’t get a GPS fix but the compass is working fine??
Spoke to Abarth countless times to check connections on the Uconnect Live services and they reckon everything fine on their end, Dealer wants £135.00 to just diagnose what the issue is, after doing some research of my own and finding the original stalk aerial in the boot I’ve come to the conclusion that either the aerial isn’t wired up or installed properly, the FM stereo has an external aerial that sticks on the back window, what about the DAB version?
So the comps all came with stalk aerials accept the performance pack equipped cars which had the button. You could for £100 get the button aerial as an option and the FM/DAB aerial is built into the rear glass on the right hand side. If yours doesn’t look like that I suspect someone’s just purchased the plug and swapping back might fix the problem if the GPS uses that as a signal?

Thanks both and appreciate the quick reply, I've been through most of this thread but missed this or just forgotten through old age.
Looks as if I'm sticking with the roof aerial then, for £100 I would personally have optioned that on my car rather than spending out on optioning the Brembos' in black and painting the roof black.
Only reason I was asking as it would make putting a cover on the car easier when the garage was full of my Alfa.
Thanks again.

Hey all, just found this thread and really enjoying reading it.
I'm a current Abarth 500 owner, a 2010 model but going to look at a 2016 595 comp this weekend ??.
The spec looks great, is there a way to see the build sheet of the car anywhere online if using the reg number?
Yes there is. PM me the reg and I shall do it in the morning for you.I'm a current Abarth 500 owner, a 2010 model but going to look at a 2016 595 comp this weekend ??.
