I had a bit of time today so started the wash process - snow foam, APC, tar remover, Iron X and clayed. After leaving it in the sun to help dry the roof out I've put it in the garage ready for applying the auto finesse ceramic kit tomorrow.

Well this sucks. I am down with a serious case of man flu. Proper stuff too, every time I stand up the world spins and I lose my balance. I shuffle like an old man who has crapped himself! No new car day for me frown I am laid up in bed sulking!

Bloody hell that's terrible luck! At least people know you aren't feigning it. I hope you get back on your feet soon pal.

Much to the displeasure of my girlfriend I've spent a full day on my car today and I applied the full autofinesse ceramic kit which I've been impressed with. The paint wasn't polished but swirl marks were pretty minor so I just cleaned it with snowfoam, apc, tar remover, fallout remover and clay bar. It's super shiny now! I covered the roof with gtechniq fabric protector.

I'm off to the meet at Duxford tomorrow so I'll get some out door shots then. It was dark by the time I finished today.

Very pretty that’s what mine will look like when I can get over to pick it up! Have you put spacers on it?

Mine is the same, common as muck! There were a load of demos done in this spec for the S4 launch.

I hope you are feeling better Geeks so that you can get your car picked up ASAP.

The Duxford meet was great today, slightly hairy bit when the convoy came off the a14 and there was a bit of a queue on the slipway. We all stopped quite quickly, not as easy as it should be as my brakes were no where near bedded in but it stopped OK. A few cars back they didn't fair so well when about 4 crashed into each other. My car had 84 miles on it at that point so was glad not to get caught up in it all.

There were about 85 cars at the meet mostly 595's but a couple of 124 and a stilo.

When I got home the car had just over 200 miles on and it performed brilliantly, we even had the roof down for a fair bit. The turismo was good but the comp is noticeably better, especially the monza!

On the mend today, well a lot better than I was, hoping to be well enough tomorrow to go and get it! Gutted I wasnt there today, even Mrs geeks said she would like to have been there. Will see if we can get to the next one. Which group was that?

Good stuff, it was organised by Abarth East Midlands facebook group in conjunction with East Coast Abarth. There seems to be a group for all areas as well as an Abarth UK owners group and Modified Abarth.

The community is very lively but it's centred on Facebook, there's a couple of us on the various groups, I was spotted whoring photos on here and there by someone hehe

Hi, to answer the questions above.

Yes, mine has the Performance Pack. The diff is great but slightly slow to lock up / react.

I don’t have spacers.

I bought mine new in September 17 & threw all the options at it aside from the auto tint rear view mirror (which I thought was standard but wasn’t).

I’ve got the carbon dashboard though.

Jealous of your dash, is the stitching on the seats white? Just curious as the theory is that only launch cars had red stitching (or yellow on yellow ones) interesting to confirm

I never realised that. Mine is red stitching.
