Do you have more info on the SOR'd Turismo? Spec, price etc or a link to it? Might be interested.

edit: Ah, I think I found it at Westover.

If you see it on Westover, that's the one. https://www.westovergroup.co.uk/abarth/used-cars/9...

If you enquire, try to speak with their salesman Alex as he is the person who deals with my Wife & I and has sold our Abarths to us - good guy!

Few months since the above.... the old Turismo was a total loss. frown
Insurance is all settled/closed now so not fussed about the pics anymore;

Wife had a replacement car provided by Insurance after much conversation. A brand new Turismo but an 'in-stock' car and not what she wanted - a compromise...
She did not want said car from day one of the process starting but taking the cash instead would have left us in a worse position so we took it but we drove it from the supplying dealer to our preferred dealer on the day it was ready and just left it there with delivery miles for them to sell on a Sale or Return basis. Our preferred dealer has been excellent with us over the last 3 years, so we were happy to do this.

Meh;

Now, it's been for sale for a couple of months but she wanted to get back behind the wheel of an Abarth so we have now just struck a deal to change the Turismo she doesn't want to a 595C Comp which she does want - she was looking at a spanking new Green one but the numbers were far nicer on this one instead... Also, the Cabrio choice was a spur of the moment just because it was available and a spec she liked - neither of us have had a ragtop before!

Much better.... smile

Hopefully we'll have it within a week... fingers crossed!
The 595c looks stunning in that colour with those wheels could I ask what the total spec is and an idea of what you paid for it?
My wife's Leaf is due to go back in April or we could buy it but I can't help thinking something like a 595c would be a hell of a lot more fun!

Can I just say clearly the leaf and the 595c Comp will be night and day.

I drive a i3 and my wife has a silly specd Comp which whilst being great fun could never be our everyday car. Just way to hardcore. I find it more wearing than my Elise. But it has bags of character and when your in the moody great fun.

My comp is my daily, I'm coming up on 6k miles now and I've only had it since Sept. I don't have the sabelts though so I think that helps.

I have had mine since October and have covered 4k in Sabelts and its fine, surprisingly well mannered on the motorway.

That said I get it is a stiff ride and not everyones cup of tea, I actually love how scrabbly it is smile

It's pretty much standard apart from what I can tell apart from it has Xenons & some Stripes.

Standard spec is pretty good on the Competizione trim, though I would also add that the Turismo is a good compromise if a little more comfort is preferred - we were very happy with ours before it got wrecked.

This 'new' one was up for £16900

Collected the new 595C Comp this weekend and barring the crap weather limiting our experience (no roof down etc), we are very happy with it as expected!

Westover had the stripe which we added to the Turismo redone for us in a satin metallic grey to match the side stripes and also put it through it’s 2yr service to ensure it was a good as it could be for us to take on - we really couldn’t recommend them as a dealer enough as they have done everything they can to help us be in a good position after the accident and before with the previous 2x 595s they’ve sold us. Excellent and we have no qualms of returning to use them in the future.

Anyway, happy wife!

Can’t wait to get a go myself unsupervised, had a little go when we came home from a day out yesterday and can tell it will be fun already....

I've bought three Abarth's from Ben at Westover ( the first a Turisimo and the last two Competizione's ) - as well as three Lotus Elise's. They are always absolutely first class to deal with and Ben usually drives up to Yorkshire from Poole to deliver my car and have lunch with us.

My latest car has the full "performance pack" and is a fantastic daily driver. I can't recommend them highly enough !

Inspired by the reader's ride thread, how're the new cars going?
Mines just ticked over 5000 miles thanks to a jolly from Aberdeen to the borders, and I have to do the same journey on Monday so expecting to hit 6k by mid feb.

It's still as good as new and drives brilliantly. only 2 faults to speak off. The fan sometimes squeeks at speed "1" and twice when I have put the handbrake on, the ratchet seemed to hit a hard stop half way up causing my hand to slip off the handle, but then it is fine when i try again (??!)

Couldn't be happier though. Fast, Loud, fun and 46mpg. I just wish the roads in Aberdeen weren't so rough. the ride is pretty good but can't cope here.

With apologies for going off topic a little, I hope the Abarth fans on here may like the following.

My wife is now on her third Abarth which we picked up yesterday - having now done over 50,000 reliable miles and smiles in the first two!

She is over the moon with this one though - we have gone from the "entry level" Abarth 500 to a new 695C Rivale! It really is a stunning looking thing and we even managed to drive with the roof down in the winter sunshine yesterday. First impressions are great, it is noticeably quicker and sounds good too. Just hoping for some better weather now to enjoy it - it's snowing here today!

I absolutely love my Comp and am planning to keep it for a long time, but I have to say I probably wouldn't if it was a daily!! Maybe your roads are in better nick than mine laugh

I’ve covered 33k in 2.5 years in my comp as my daily. Much more comfortable than my previous civic.

Really like these - we were considering Comp or Rivale when we were looking recently, and it all stemmed down to the numbers for us.

Wife still would have one of these any day though!

Steady 70mph in 5th. That's an average over 250 miles too, not zeroing the trip computer at the start of a downhill.

I got 55mpg out of it yesterday passing through some roadworks. 50mph in 5th. however I had zeroed the trip computer around 10 miles before hand. At the end of the journey (75 miles) it was showing an average of 47mpg.

Changing the topic slightly, but I'm really struggling to get mine down below 30mpg biggrin Doesn't matter how hard I try it just won't do it!

Say what? Stop short shifting, thrash it and keep the revs up, I can easily keep mine at 15 lol!
