I think mine must have been on the same boat as I got a call from my dealer this afternoon to say it was on UK soil. They want it for their September figures so want to register it asap.
I've also had a call from Milan, the lady said that she can tell me that it's due for delivery to the dealer on Wednesday so I'll be hot-footing it down there to have a look at it as soon as I can.
The dealer was also trying to push GAP insurance, which I haven't bothered with on any of my cars if I did I certainly wouldn't be buying it from the dealer. He was also pushing damage cover which is £400 for 3 years. I'm a bit tempted with this but I'm not sure.
I've asked that they don't wash it or prep it in any way. If I get it next Friday I know what my Saturday will be doing. Sunday I'm booked to go to Duxford IWM with Abarth east midlands so that will be a great 1st outing for it.
Home stretch now!
Great news on the delivery. I will organise my own GAP as well!I've also had a call from Milan, the lady said that she can tell me that it's due for delivery to the dealer on Wednesday so I'll be hot-footing it down there to have a look at it as soon as I can.

Might try and make the IWM meet if I manage to get mine in time.
I think we should organise a PH Abarth meet as well, would appear there are enough of us

I look forward to the pics! Even if my one arrived early I am in Cardiff for work at the moment so couldn't go and get it anyway.
Make sure you report back when you have it!
It's caused me a few issues as I want to apply ceramic coating whilst it's all new and clean but I've managed to borrow my dad's car for a couple of days. Make sure you report back when you have it!
I asked the dealer for some photos now that it has arrived but he refused. He said I can wait to see it in person tomorrow. Great customer service.

any news on if that green will come to the uk cant see on the abarth configuration ?
Yes it will, there are already a couple of green ones floating around. The Abarth configurator is crappo, it gives an ok indication of what you can have but when you get to the dealers you'll find there is a lot more available! pidsy said:

Specc’d mine last week. I did think the carbon dash was standard on the comp for some reason though..... Ah well if mine isn't I will just get it wrapped!
It’s £550.
Anyone seen this on AT? I'll be honest, alot of this I don't like (including the price, 35k!) however, I like the roof lining and the alcantara door cards!

Geeks you are lucky having a dealer who is actually interested in customer service.

Actually I will be honest, I'm not, the service has actually only improved very recently when I threatened to cancel the order with Abarth Customer Care. Also their has been a change in leadership at the dealer as well, new sales manager is much better than the old one, who mysteriously just left. To his credit though the sales guy has been very apologetic about the whole experience and it does seem as though the old sales manager was the route of the problems I had early on such as not getting my order in before the factory closed etc. We'll see, if I arrive at 4:30 on Saturday and the car isn't ready there will be hell to pay but the signs are good that I will be leaving giggling like a child with the sport button pressed Geeks you are lucky having a dealer who is actually interested in customer service.

I hope you are feeling better Geeks so that you can get your car picked up ASAP.
The Duxford meet was great today, slightly hairy bit when the convoy came off the a14 and there was a bit of a queue on the slipway. We all stopped quite quickly, not as easy as it should be as my brakes were no where near bedded in but it stopped OK. A few cars back they didn't fair so well when about 4 crashed into each other. My car had 84 miles on it at that point so was glad not to get caught up in it all.
There were about 85 cars at the meet mostly 595's but a couple of 124 and a stilo.
When I got home the car had just over 200 miles on and it performed brilliantly, we even had the roof down for a fair bit. The turismo was good but the comp is noticeably better, especially the monza!
On the mend today, well a lot better than I was, hoping to be well enough tomorrow to go and get it! Gutted I wasnt there today, even Mrs geeks said she would like to have been there. Will see if we can get to the next one. Which group was that? The Duxford meet was great today, slightly hairy bit when the convoy came off the a14 and there was a bit of a queue on the slipway. What made you not spec the sabelts in yours? I park my car on street and today someone has managed to take a good chunk of paint away from my front bumper without leaving a note and on inspection in the past week someone has managed that on the other side of the bumper as well!
It was only painted 2-3 months ago after someone reversed into me
Mine will be in the garage while we are living here and then behind closed locked gates when we move back home, first ever new car, I am going to be precious about for like a whole week

That is odd Ferrari have been doing red and tan for years.
I wanted the silver wheels but wasn't allowed to spec it, it would only allow the grey ones. Now it's been delivered I prefer the grey.
Any progress on a pickup for you Geeks?
Mine is booked in for heat elements to be installed to the seats on Thursday and I'm trying to get a date for an alarm.
