They are unusual, what stripes are they? pidsy said:
Who did them for you?
They’re not official Abarth stripes are they?
Well spotted they weren't sold by abarth but they are a replica of them. They were done by a local guy who is just starting out on his own having been a sign writer/graphics for a few years. They’re not official Abarth stripes are they?
They aren't a perfect match to the wing mirrors and handles but they aren't far off. Matching them exactly is pretty impossible as they change colour depending on how the light hits them.
The vinyl he's used is guaranteed for 9 years apparently so it's high quality stuff. His contact details are https://www.facebook.com/Glow-Worm-Graphics-253460...
Here's another photo from this morning in the sunlight.
I was told when I ordered my car that it would come with stripes so I didn't need to add them, when it turned up it didn't have them and I was told it was due to a revision of the model year and they are no longer included. I was a bit gutted then but I prefer having the grey ones to the black that abarth supply so I'm pleased now.

Mine came with matching strips. Am toying with getting the roof wrapped black to match..
It's a factory option to have the roof wrapped now if you want it, as yours is red I think a black roof would look great. Get it done. Bungleaio said:
Very nice, ive only seen bipostos without stripes.
Yea its official title is Abarth Biposto Rosso Officine , only 99 made and only 10 or so came to UK ... not all have stripes but all are red ... not to be confused with the Abarth 695 Tributo FerrariETA
I'm presently doing a register of these cars, so if anyone has any info about the whereabouts of any (they are all numbered) please PM me. The register will be confidential but I'm happy to share with other owners if I can get permission from those that have them. I know of one other in the UK, several that are or have been for sale in Germany and apparently there are two in Australia. I'm looking for present location, mileage, LHD or RHD and whether it has stripes for each numbered edition.

Hi all
I am new here so sorry if this might be covered elsewhere
I am on the brink of ordering a Competizone, or a Turismo. I am leaning towards to Turismo as I love the red leather with Campovolo grey. But, I am slightly worried about the wear and tear on the leather. The older leather seats had the single flat piece that you sit on, and this often looked stretched and a little saggy on the second hand cars. Has anyone had any experience with the newer design seats now with the stitching that splits this flat section into segments. (as in photo)

It looks to have all the bits I’m after. It seems a bit lower price wise considering the options, I guess that’s down to mileage?
I have other options as well but thought I’d put this one on here to gauge any input!

Looks nice. 2 things bother me with the advert though, they’ve listed it as podium blue and the description they mention black (which it is) but that’s pretty much all the describe it as seems a very lazy advert. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201...

I had a turismo with those seats in which I did 11.5k miles in and there was no discernable sag to the leather, they wear really well. I now have a Comp but I spec'd the sport seats rather than having the Sabelts that come in the comp as standard. I've got natural leather and after 7.5k miles they are still looking very good.

Looks a very well specified car having the xenons, leather seats, 7 inch screen and beats. There's not many tan leather sabelts around that I've seen.https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201...

As mentioned - it’s black not blue.
Give it a wash before you list it!
Motorvogue are one of these companies that charge an admin fee £149 in this case.
The ad is as vague as most dealer ads are - the details are a bit light. I’m thinking it could be a PP car.

Thanks for your reply. It's given me some confidence in the leather, especially as you chose the leather over the Sabelts. Was that due to comfort or the look? I hear some people find they get back ache with the Sabelts but I cannot speak from personal experience. I found the cloth seats in my 500 custom fine apart from that stupid white line down the centre which gets dirty if you're not carefulI had a turismo with those seats in which I did 11.5k miles in and there was no discernable sag to the leather, they wear really well. That particular car should be a PP car as it has the carbon backs on the Sabelts and the Monza wheels. However the fact that they haven't washed it, the parcel shelf is just bung in the boot and also the fuel cap suggests to me that is hasn't been particularly well looked after, I would also want evidence that the LSD has had its first service if it does indeed have the PP. I would also balk at a £150 admin fee, just include it in the price of the car for fks sake!
