Abarth 595 Competizione as a daily?
Discussion
Well we’ve got a Black Comp coming in a week or two.
Had the choice of some dealer stock with an extra £400 discount if registered by end of March.
Works out about £19500.
Plain spec apart from the reversing sensors and climate control, although that might be standard.
We owe £12300 on our Trofeo so need to pay £750 deposit and £288 per month.
Not too bad.
I didn’t want a black one as they’re a pain to look after but the other choice was Record Grey and that’s what we have now so fancy a change.
The grey one had no parking sensors but they’d fit them for free. It did have the Scorpion aerial or something. I couldn’t even see what that was online so no big deal. Like I say we didn’t want Grey again and I didn’t like the thought of a mechanic drilling the rear bumper for the sensors.
Anyway I’m quite looking forward to it. I like the standard wheels with the 5 horseshoe sort of design.
Not much worth changing given its use. It’ll have 20bho more than the Trofeo anyway.
Cheers.
ETA for post above.
CarPlay is standard now.
We have 8000 miles allowance although it’s pretty irrelevant as long as you don’t hand it back to finance company. We’ll always just eBay or it trade it in.
Big shout out to Olivia at Abarth Nuneaton. She worked hard to get us a good deal. We’ve only had the Trofeo since 2017 so I thought we’d have to run it for another year tbh, to make the figures stack up.

Decided to take the plunge.
Sod it, I deserve a present:
It’s a performance pack car - 16k miles.
Pick it up next weekend.
It’s awesome.
I’m very happy. Or will be when it’s on the drive.
Edit to add - it’s got a sunroof. I didn’t know that was an option. It’s huge.

That looks ace Pidsy. Nice one!
Update on ours.
Turns out the black one is actually sold.
Abarth UK have found us a Grey one with £1500 of options for free.
So Record Grey, black mirrors and stripes, yellow Calipers.
Scorpion antenna
7” screen with sat nav
Reverse sensors
Auto climate control
Auto dimming mirror
Beats hifi
Xenon headlights
Happy with that.
Seems weird having black extras but the yellow Calipers. Red or black calipers would have been better but hey it’s a decent deal so it’s no biggie.

Hi all
I am new here so sorry if this might be covered elsewhere
I am on the brink of ordering a Competizone, or a Turismo. I am leaning towards to Turismo as I love the red leather with Campovolo grey. But, I am slightly worried about the wear and tear on the leather. The older leather seats had the single flat piece that you sit on, and this often looked stretched and a little saggy on the second hand cars. Has anyone had any experience with the newer design seats now with the stitching that splits this flat section into segments.

=LV quoted me £159 when adding the Abarth to my multi car policy, then when I explained to them exactly what it was they said they couldn't insure it so they offered no insurance for the Abarth but a £50 sweetener for wasting my time ... this was subsequently increased to £100 when I explained what my time is worth ... ended up going to Adrian Flux for an agreed value insurance

So what put them off? I presume not that it was an Abarth but maybe the extras? Direct line wouldn't cover mine because it had performance packEdited by RATATTAK on Monday 1st April 20:44
