Weird that you guys are having issues, both were quite happy to quote for mine, I have the PP as well, it's just a factory option confused
Direct line were adamant they will not cover the performance pack irrespective of whether it's a factory option, I was fuming TBH as I was already with them on the previous car and I had to cancel the policy. I suspect they could use non declared factory options as a get out clause in a claim, I've never been asked about factory options before. Really options change so often who knows what was optional on a used car when it was new?
My biggest gripe is that the Tele sales guy didn't know enough about cars to judge but even in a case where they lost a very ****ed off customer you can't discuss the issue with an actual underwriter.

So...

How the hell does this Uconnect system work?
There’s an app for it which isn’t available in the UK so how do I make it do whatever it does?
I want to be able to use waze.

The app should be available in the UK I have it on my phone (Android) however you are not missing much generally faster interface on my phone (for example TuneIn runs really clunky on Uconnect, not sure why maybe there's hardly any ram in the media unit??) Also it only supports Deezer (seriously are they barmy?) I use Amazon music on my phone and can control it via Alexa, I only have the 5 inch though without nav although it does have beats....ex demo launch model slightly odd spec

Ok, bit of reading shows I can live without uconnect. The dealer description also mentioned appleplay but I’m not seeing anything on screen about that so maybe it doesn’t have it?

carplay etc. was an option it may not have had it. I only have the 5 inch without nav so I have the phone on a pillar mount by brodit to which I've glued a magnetic mount. You can use voice commands for some functions but I also find that it is must less distracting to use the phone screen on the right than the media screen in the centre. I'll try to remember to take a photo of it tomorrow and post it on here

Ok, so out today to get used to the car. The setting position is definitely different to what I’m used to.

Also, about an hour in, the car periodically made three quite loud “bong” sounds. It seemed to be coming from the dash. It did it every 10 mins or so. I expected to see a message on the screen or dash but nothing showed.
Could it be camera warnings from the nav even though it wasn’t being used?

Absolutely love it so far though.

Also, is there a way to check the options the car has?

A lot of people don't like the elevated seating position but I prefer it now. I couldn't get on with the lack of reach adjustment but the wheel spacer has made a big difference to me.

I'm not sure what the sounds are, there aren't any speed camera notifications I as far as I know unless the nav is running. Maybe it was the speed warning which you can customise via the three buttons on the instrument binnacle.

There aren't many options available for these cars, if you post some pictures we should be able to work out what it's got.

A dealer can do a print out, fairly easy to work out though. Yours seems very well spec'd

And one of the biggest sunroofs that I’ve seen. It’s pretty much half of the roof.

Those bongs are probably the speed camera warnings, mine does the same and I have the 7" nav as well. Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions. Looks really smart in black

Looks like you have performance pack (the most important option IMHO), 7inch with beats, hid headlights, sunroof (jealous about sunroof I think that's a rare find with PP) can't tell what else but you have all the important bits. With the beats I was disappointed at first but now really like it, it needs really strange tone settings but I also wonder if the speakers have bedded in a bit over time (mine only had 500 on clock when I got it). I would highly recommend fitting a short shifter, the cheapest one by 4H-tech is great

It’s an early series 4 car supplied by motorvogue in London.
It’s got 16k miles on it. That’ll even out as I have it - I usually do about 3k a year.

I’m really pleased with it.

The yellow calipers are also an option, the leather on the sabelts could also be an option, I'm bit sure if the pp comes with leather.

Does it have an electronic dimming rear view mirror? If so that's an option too.

Being a 17 plate it should come with Xenons and auto dimming rear view as standard. I think the cut off was May '17 or thereabouts where Abarth changed the options list and took away Xenons and auto dimmer as standard (a really wonky move if you ask me).

PP Sabelts have a little bit of leather and that wasn't a separate option.

A lovely spec Pidsy, the sunroof is really rare. Annoyingly I wanted to go the whole hog and spec sunroof/carbon dash back in May '17 but missed the cut off to when they changed specs/pricing. So had to pick pre built but the upside was the old pricing.

I must admit, the fiat 500 remnant on the dash is already annoying me.
£600 for a carbon dash is a bit steep though!

Thanks to all of you answering questions.

Bothered me at first as well but you soon stop noticing it, I'm actually not a big fan of the carbon dash anyway so maybe that helps.
