Does it have a sunroof?
Yes the only thing missing is the carbon seats and the LSD. Otherwise if you could tick it we got it (including the actually rather nice metal petrol cap)
Can you PM me the details - I’ve been looking for another one. It has to have a sunroof - my mate that it’s for doesn’t like carbon so that’s fine.
Sorry missed the message. Will put something together and send it across when I'm home tonight
Did you send it ever?
My work email system is a bit crap at the best of times.

Afternoon everyone, just a little heads up that I am selling my Comp with Performance Pack.

Advert is live on PH and others. If you know anyone that is looking for one please feel free to give them the info.

This one? - https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/...

Out of all the colour options i've always really liked the red / black scheme on these. Although the yellow / black comes pretty close too.

Love the full carbon backs on the Sabelt's. Having spent a fair bit on custom carbon fibre on my own Mk1 Focus RS over a decade ago, i do like a bit of carbon on these smile

That is indeed mine!

Oh yes the carbon backs are one of the lovely details that Abarth added. Before they put them further out of reach with the current Essesse!

So I've finally got all four wheels on the car... Yes, it's bright, but I think the roads need cheering up a little every now and then. biggrin

Thanks. I've got badges to stick on, as well as bonnet struts and a short shift sat waiting in the box.

I have a huge shopping list after those basic bits. But more power will have to wait a while till it's got some miles on it, and I have the funds.

Toying with some springs to get it looking less jacked up, as they are not too expensive. I had Novitec's on my previous one, but that did sit very low.

I bought mine new in September 17. Opted for the performance pack plus carbon dash & a load of other extras.

The PP was £3.2k I think. Carbon seats, slippy diff & lightweight wheels.

I love my 595. Seriously good fun yet handles the daily trudge with ease. Our other daily is a Hybrid C-HR.

Fabulous in its own way but the Abarth is a perfect antidote for sensible motoring...lol

Agreed the little car will be missed. But my circumstances have changed, my old man passed away and basically left me his Mk1 Mazda 3 MPS which is horrendously brisk and hugely practical. With all the sentimental feelings behind it, it has become my daily and rolling refurb project.

Buuuuuuuut that doesn't mean I have gone too sensible. Have ordered a 30th Anniversary Mx-5 RF to replace. Suitably bold and brash in orange!

I’ve got a long list of stuff I want to do. It’s so much cheaper to mod than my M3 was - I can’t stop myself!
Got an appointment with the wizard of abarth next week.

If only.

Tony @tune4performance - I’ve known him for years, he has always been big in the Smart scene, he’s now making his name in the Abarth scene.
I’m not sure how/why he’s gained that name - but the owners clubs seem to know him as that.

Oh exciting!! Can't wait to see how that goes. Is it just a remap? Have you got any other mods or just on the standard car?

Does anyone know how I can check the build spec of my car? Like ETIS with Ford. I'm just conscious because the PP should have carbon seats, which mine doesn't, and also it has an aerial and at the time of speccing the car, you have to have the plug with the PP... am getting worried the diff may not be in there....

I went through the option list of mine (couple of pages back. I called the supplying dealer - they gave me to spec for my car.
The PP doesn’t have an option code. Iirc, there’s a sticker or something under the battery tray that identifys the LSD.

no other mods as yet - gonna start with a map and see how it feels. I’m not after massive power - if I feel it needs more, I’ll do it.

They deleted the carbon backs for pp when the esseesse came out. There is a label on the gearbox but I'm not sure if you can see it without taking the battery box out, I saw mine when fitting a shortshifter

Thanks both. I've got a short shift to go on so will check when I fit that.

Pidsy, that's what I'm thinking of doing. Just to give it a bit more go, but without spending masses of pennies.

Done a few minor mods to my Trofeo now.

  1. "Ferrari" style Wing Badges
  2. Blow off valve - also convinced this makes the exhaust pop and bang more.
  3. New Monza replacement as old ones valve seized
  4. Scorpion badge for the rear defuser
  5. Sabelt racing strap
  6. BMC Air Filter
  7. Android Auto 4.0 Update
  8. Abarth Decals all round matching the Black/Yellow paint job.
  9. HEKO Wind Deflectors

And today I'm going to add the MS-R side repeaters everyones been raving about.

Where did you get your yellow mirror caps from?
I can’t find yellow anywhere.

I saw the android update you posted about on Instagram - I can’t even get the apple CarPlay to work in mine.
