You can spec the turismo seats in the comp, thats what I did.
They are fine for mileage but it does get wearing, The fuel tank is annoying as it's so small it needs filling regularly.
Ah, didn't realise you could spec the turismo seats, that would be a good shout. They are fine for mileage but it does get wearing, The fuel tank is annoying as it's so small it needs filling regularly.
I bought mine pre reg this time and my previous I ordered base spec everything, even the free paint.
Fuel tank size is a pita, a did a 220 mile round trip, me and the 2 kids so partially loaded and drained the tank.
Was a fun 220 miles though
I’m a big fan of the comp seats I find the turismo seats you end up on your passenger if turning a corner. Biggest thing is to try them out as we are all different shapes and sizes. I also find from non car people that have been passengers in my car it’s how comfortable the seats are is normally the first reaction.
Just spent the morning with a roller and a box of dynamat, massive improvement on "daily" driving, ie my 30 mile commute.
Lined both doors, boot lid, boot and rear seat squab. £30.
Takes a lot of the resonance out of the cabin and actually makes it a fairly pleasant place, upgraded to Alpine speakers while I was at it.
Also added a centre arm rest, addressing all my niggles pretty much.
Happy now.

Hi guys! First post here, about to get my second Abarth, Comp this time round, trying to find out if I can fit a car seat in the back, can’t find anything online about the sabelt seats, it’s only to be used a couple of times a week max with child in tow, thanks in advance!
Yes, can fit 2 seats easily. Someone I know even installed this 3 seater successfully : https://www.multimac.com/p/multimac_1000_3_seateralfasud1 said:

Hi and welcome. How old is your little one? I.e. do you need to fit in a baby carrier, or just a HBB?
I have 2 in the back of my Comp. Although am just about to order them new seats as my son is at the limit in his current seat.
My daughter is in a Recaro Young Sport (original, not Hero), and my son is rear facing in a Nuna Rebl Plus spin seat. I am about to get them both Britax Advansafix seats as they are one of the narrowest I've seen, but have all the safety features. I've had to add a makeshift top tether on my daughters Recaro as it only uses the seatbelt and the seat was rolling all over the place, even with the added weight of her sitting in it. The Britax seats fit with isofix and top tether so should be more secure.
It is tight, especially with the Sabelts, but you can make it work for sure.

Is it true that Competizione is most sought after, comparing to other models. Went to test drive it yesterday and today and was told it's better to buy Competizione than other models, as they are sought after and it's difficult to sell other ones.
Yesterday I tested Competizione Auto with Sabelts and thought Auto is really bad and didn't like Sabelt seats. So dealer offered me brand new manual Pista for a test drive. I thought it's much better for daily duties. But then went online and notices that this model has limited options, you can't get leather seats, etc.
Today went to test drive manual Competizione with normal, leather seats. Seats were better, but I thought car is shaking a bit and not as good to drive as Pista day before. Now, this car was 2.5y old with 20K miles on a clock and Pista day before was brand new, so it might related to the mileage.
I already have Abarth 124 Spider and like the noise of the exhaust, so was looking at 595 models with Monza, hence choice of Competizione for initial test drive.

The comp is the “top” model both in terms of power and appeal. Yesterday I tested Competizione Auto with Sabelts and thought Auto is really bad and didn't like Sabelt seats. The suspension is a bit harsh, the sandlots are ok when you get used to them.
Some have spec’d the leather seats - but if you are gonna go with a comp you might as well go with them.
The auto box is horrendous in my experience so if you can drive a manual, I’d go with one.
The comp has plenty of extras over the other models but if you don’t want/need the hottest version, go with the Pista.

You would be wise to try and get used to the Sabelts because come sale time the non standard Sabelt cars struggle to sell.
But that would be choosing spec for next owner. Don't want to suffer for couple of years, so I can sell for couple of hundreds more. I do tend to do long trips in my cars, going to the Alps, etc. I don't do around the corner driving. PenelopaPitstop said:
