4C - Where are we with prices right now?
Discussion
I love these cars I've been following them since they were announced and was close to getting one of the lease deals. I live a few doors down from this one which I'm convincing myself is fate, https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/2014-alfa-tb... I drove it around 2 months ago and can't get it out of my head. The dealer had it up for €52k with the import cost for Ireland paid which was suggested to be around €12-14k so probably the equivalent to £33-35k.
I have a 1986 911 I recently bought and have only really got 1 summer out of it, I'd have to sell it to get the Alfa and have been torturing myself over what to do, 911 isn't as special but still nice in its own right and is very practical compared to the 4c. The Porsche tax really grates me, £1k for a wheel refurb, £240 for a cylinder head temp sensor!
Has anyone noticed a slight jump in price recently? I used to see some for £33k but now they seem to start around £36k

48 down to 31, hard to believe that number of rhd cars have been exported but it may be easy to convert them, I know a few lotus’s went to Italy and were converted to lhd
It's worth noting that cars for sale at dealers will not show on the stats as they are neither taxed or SORNed. This explains the drop in numbers - it will go back up again once they find owners.shea89 said:

Exactly this.I haven’t run a spread sheet or anything, so it’s only my butt meter feeling enabling me to agree.
Is it supply and demand or something else? I have a feeling that 33K was the bottom of the value curve which is bad news for me as I’m looking to buy next winter.
Hi All
Finally got round to uploading a photo of my new car.
Unfortunately the weather's not been great so haven't been able to get it out much, but even just sitting in it puts a smile on my face
Took it to get a service and bolt tightening this week, I used Auto Alfa in basildon as Joe recommended - was really pleased lots of old school alfa's in there, the owner was great you can tell they are really passionate about the cars
Cheers

I don't think the WBAC price way that bad for the 4C before this. My black coupe (lease) was valued by them around £34.5K, the lease company wanted about £35.5K for it.
Then there is a currently similar spec (obviously also ex lease) now up for sale at £38,750. So bearing in mind that it's not the easiest car to shift, I think the WBAC was more than fair (before this crash obviously)

Tempted to extend the lease on mine for another 4 months into November rather than July this summer. I’m well under the lease deal on miles but this would mean me taking on insurance again and crucially having to pay for a second service.
Any idea what a second service costs, obviously needs to be done via an official dealer to comply with lease terms. Presume I could cancel my insurance and get a refund after 4 months.
Just weighing up options given it’ll be stationary for a while in the current climate....
