Second Service I think is around £600 but dealers will be desperate for work when this is over so you can probably haggle. Insurance, talk to a good broker and say what you want to do and they will choose a policy that suits . I use Pace Ward who have always been very helpful

Still for sale. Reckon its value is nearer to £20K given its history and the colour??

He's a few miles from here, so may go and have a look.

The last picture showing the damage does look
Minor. What’s infuriating that yet again the Insurance company have totalled a car with minor damage . It happens all to often

The right rear of the car doesn't sit right. The wheel arch doesn't align with the bumper.

I'm sure this side of the wheelarch should be flush with side skirts. It's miles out.

Agreed. This is a bigger issue than reported I’d guess.

Certainly does have the race exhaust yep...
I’m keeping a close eye on the prices with my lease spider due back at month end.

I really didn’t see a time when they dropped below £30k to be honest but there are a number, including launch edition and 50th edition cars, around the mid £30’s at present.

Interesting times and this is before the usual winter drop...

They have a weirdly tight spread, only 10k between the top and bottom really. I imagine once the bottom drops below 30 the rest will start to move more frown.

Private sale and in Falkirk so bit of a treck for many people. That may be reflected in the price Price not unfair for a 4 year old car, loosing about a third is good compared to many cars . Hopefully it won’t hang around for to long

Been watching for my old one to disappear off the Manheim site so I can keep an eye out for it showing up somewhere else. It has now gone along with 2 other black coupes and a black spyder. Very interested to see what price they end up at once they hit autotrader!

I’ll be ready to pounce on a decent deal over winter.

The last grey Spider with all the nice carbon at £48k apparently sold. I enquired about it yesterday. I tried to buy it before it was registered and was offered a good price on it compared to what it actually sold for -as pre registered.

Falkirk isn't exactly the middle of nowhere.

The play in the ball joints will mean a bill coming up for that car.

I didn’t mean to imply it was in the middle of nowhere but more it was a long way for many people , for me, from Hampshire it’s a 7 hour drive each way so for anyone else in the south the price needs to be keen to get people interested.

A crystal ball question of course but do we really see a time when 4C’s will become early/mid £20k cars?

I loved mine and would be ready to buy one rather than lease one but one of the reasons I felt happy getting against an Exige for example would be the future value of a rare, carbon tub produced car.

Eventually I'm sure they will be, but I think it'll be a good few years yet.

They have a lot going for them residuals wise, IMO.

- Fairly one of a kind, Exige is close but not with a good DCT and not with Italian styling.
- Carbon tub, obviously
- Simple engineering apart from the tub, low repair costs for the most part.
- Fairly safe out of warranty (probably just cursed my car with that!)
- Low running costs (petrol, tax, weirdly insurance, pads, tyres etc.)
- Quite low numbers (312 registered in the UK atm)
- Fantastic UK specialists

All of the above should go someway to keeping demand pretty high. Also anecdotally it seems to me that owners tend to keep them for a long time (lease excluded) so I don't think there will ever be more than 10-20 for sale at a time.

It's the only 4C on AT in Scotland. It's also the closest car for many people.

I think this is the cheapest I have seen yet. Decent spec / milage / condition too.
