Quick update,

Car arrived yesterday and I am delighted with it. As expected a couple of scuffs on the alloys that will be easily sorted and the roof needs a good clean and treating, but beyond that for a 3-year old car it's in great condition.

It would be remiss of me not to sing the praises of Glenfield of Kilmarnock who have been courteous, professional and efficient throughout the whole process. Now time to enjoy it smile

Beautiful....... perhaps just a set of carbon wing mirrors to match the carbon air vent. Gorgeous though

Congrats - and great to see it’s arrived safely onto the freshly prepared driveway. Enjoy the first few drives exploring the car and it’s capabilities.

Thanks. Going to wait until tomorrow to get out and about as I am quite a tight arse and can't justify paying a month's road tax for a drive after work today!

No chance of selling that.... or at least at the advertised price. Prices are rising but a few dealers are trying to engineer a faster increase than the market will accept.

Fantastic colour, low low mileage, if it was a spider it’s a bargain. For a coupe I’m not so sure but I think it will sell given time.
As I’ve said before, check the European market prices, much higher. Perhaps they rate the car higher than we do?

Maybe, however performance cars in general are often 25/30% more expensive than here.

A bargain would have been 6 months ago for under 40K.

It does appear that if yellow is not the colour for you then your options are limited in the UK at the moment. I am not too concerned about values going up or down, as I wouldn't have thought there would be a momentous shift in either direction.

Having driven mine every day since I took delivery of it (just about to go out again), I can now see why demand is high; I love driving it! I have got to travel a couple of hundred miles in a week's time for a few meetings and as long as the weather isn't too bad, I am taking the 4C. The only thing I wish it had was a better stereo. Happy to listen to the car's visceral melodies on shorter fun drives, but on a longer very steady journey it would nice to have some decent quality audio.

Best bet is noise cancelling headphones on long trips. No stereo can beat the road noise on long journeys, headphones make it much more tolerable after 2 hours or so.

My Sony XM3 you can adjust the amount of cancellation so can tune it to take the edge off without feeling like you’re unaware.

Thanks for the advice. I have always been wary of driving in headphones due to the lack of awareness you mention - I may have to give it a try.

The audio is fine. Set it at volume 20 and its spot on.

Im up at 5am tomorrow to do my old weekly 200mile commute over to Oxford in her, will be 3 hrs. Can be 6 hrs on the way back sometimes, esp if on a Friday and I get Brizzle interface wrong frown

Coupes are rarer than rag tops so in time values will be firmer . The last cars in the US, the 33 run out models are $80,000 new . Reselling at just over 100

Debate values anyway you want but just know depreciation going forward won’t be an issue

Correct... values will only increase, there is no argument in that.

UK coupes outnumber spiders. Not sure global.

Feel honoured to have owned one of the twelve 2018 spiders - YS18 ZWG. My current 2016 spider seems common as muck now hehe
