Yes, it looks a nice car at a very good price.
Looks like their red Spider may have sold too..

I think Auto100 have priced it based on the fact that GT Two car (which is younger, and lower miles) is still there on £37,500 - both are good spec but lacking sensors.
Yeah, the Spider sold; oddly enough it hung around for a while at £37,500, they increased it to £39,950 and it sold. Hmm.

As this is a market watch, I noticed the 67-plate, 8k car that was for sale privately for £38k is now up at a dealer "Geoff Cox" for £40k. It was due a service which the private owner said "wasn't due yet" (although it was only 6 weeks away). Wonder if the dealer with throw that into the price seeing as it's nearly £1k.

Yes they have priced it well. Trade in on that car would have been around 30K.

I've just moved a Carrara white launch edition car off market for someone. Went for good money too. There's a real buzz about them at the moment. Really nice to see. So many dealers don't understand these cars which is a shame because if they all knew what they were talking about they would be selling much quicker IMO.

That comp rosso car is an absolute bargain.

Spec is bang on with the yellow callipers.

Will be gone in no time.

No leather dash.
Bit of a deal breaker for me.

I agree the leather dash makes all of the difference to the interior.

Do you think this is too pricey?

The previous owner is on here - Nero77

It's been for sale at that dealer for over 18 months, was previously listed at £36,995, it was *way* overdue a service, so they serviced it, cleaned it and refurbed the wheels to black then slapped an extra £1k on the car about 6 weeks ago to list it at its current price.

It was overpriced, back when these cars weren't shifting and there were lots on the market...but now, if you were planning to fit the Alfaworks mods anyway (about £1200 worth) then you could say it's well priced given the current upshift in the prices.

Note, a few people who drove it on Alfaowner said the dealer wasn't willing to accept any offers (this was back when these cars weren't selling!) so now they know which was the prices are going, I doubt they'll move much on price if at all. Also, the interior was "looking tired" according to one person who drove it. The front nose has also been resprayed by Alfa due to a scuff, but that's probably a good thing!

Hope that helps.
(Note, I only know this because it was a car I was very interested in, but the price being asked, and it sitting on a forecourt for so long put me off.)

Hmm ok I’ve put a deposit down on it subject to seeing it.

They gave me great px on two cars we have, so I assume they need to shift it now.

When I’m back from Spain I’ll have a close look at the interior, but if not happy I won’t buy it.

Fantastic. I'm sure you'll be pleased - both people who viewed it on AlfaOwner made offers on it, and said it drove brilliantly, I'm sure you will be happy with it.

Make sure you get reassurance that the car is mint and don't let Stevie Wonder in the valeting bay loose on it with a jetspray as he'll no doubt lift off the PPF from the edges of the sills. Check it over very carefully paying attention to stone chips, lifting PPF and kerbing to alloy wheels.

I bought mine from their other dealership site - not by choice but because it was the only one in the country for sale I could find that had near delivery mileage in the colour/spec I wanted. Let's just say for a car with 134 miles on it their definition of showroom condition is different to mine (all the faults as above). As your buying from the other location you might get a different experience.

Your buying from Fiat so you're in the same camp as someone buying a Fiat 500 base model on finance unless there is someone there who knows about the 4C. Sales guy was OK and was somewhat embarrassed that after reassuring me on the phone the car was mint before I made the 200 miles train journey as when I arrived it wasn't. I'd already negotiated a good wedge off and the lack of prep resulted in more money off so I could get it done myself as I wasn't coming back!

I reckon they'll take a knock following your assessment. Good luck. The cars are great but so far my customer experience of AR has been shamefully poor although I'm early days.

Poor PPF fit & lifting at the edges is an issue on a few cars & its how they come from the factory so not necessarily the dealers fault . Alfa have replaced the PPF on a few cars under warranty so depending on the age of the car etc ( I haven't checked the details ) if PPF isn't up to standard its a simple claim. The dealer will choose a specialist to do the work, consider it an opportunity if you want to get a bit more done by paying extra, doors are only 1/2 door, full door better, cills can do with more on the inside etc Re dealer / delivery damage check under the front bumper for scuffs as that seems to happen a few times but if not bad you will probably make it worse at some point

So today is the first day in 2 years with the lowest amount of 4C's on the market. Impressive how many are being snapped up. So many new people realising how great they are. I'm really pleased to see the market moving so quickly. Especially when a lot of other cars aren't really selling. Makes me think I should keep mine a bit longer!

Congrats to all that have bought them recently. You've made a great decision and I hope you are all very happy with them.

I've been doing a market trend analysis over the last few months and I will share this with you all over the coming months in this thread.

It is odd, I was with a few friends on Saturday and they all wanted a look at the car, I have had a lot of nice cars but for some reason, this is the one they all got excited about. No-one can believe the price of these at the minute.

It gets s lot of attention, but in a nice way.

Plus it is a lot of fun.

I'm seriously thinking about moving my F-Type R on for one of these soon.

Whilst I wasn't overly enamoured the first time I drove one 18 months ago, I can't help coming back to them.
A niggle that won't go away.

Spider in pearl white, leather dash, dark hole alloys or comp red coupe, leather dash, dark hole alloys...

My brother had An F Type R AWD and loved it dearly. We went out in both back to back and there is no doubt its an incredible bit of kit.

4C is just a rare little fun toy in comparison. Leather dash is a must in my opinion.

I haven't looked for months, only 14 on Pistonplebs & one is in Ontario so really only 13. The prices definitely on the up, even on the early cars , really looking like a sellers market, choice on spec will be getting limited

The F is certainly a good car.
Loud, brash and incredibly fast.

It's very heavy though, and as I previously had Exiges I'd like something a little lighter than the Jag, but with an auto box.
