When I'm back from our family holiday, mine is going into Jamie's for the suspension block mod and setup.
I've just received my carbon mirror caps from the US so I'll be fitting those when I'm back.
That'll do with the mods whilst the cars in warranty but I'm tempted by the remapped ecu when the warranty has finished. Has anyone on here had that mod done and care to share their thoughts on gains for both power and as I understand it improved gear changes?

I'll be interested to get Jamie's and your impressions of the car before the blocks and after given your car is near new. I'm of a view mine doesn't need them but I've not driven one with them fitted.T5GRF said:

But seriously glad initial thoughts good , I don’t notice the throttle laggy , it’s not in all weather by any chance as that’s quite soft, no idea on the head unit .

The laggy throttle response doesn't sound normal, are you driving it in dynamic mode?Lots of traffic so didn't really get to explore it too much, and I go away for a week again tomorrow.

The headunti will probably have a maximum Number of devices if will pair to at any give time. There's probably a menu option that allows you to delete existing paired devices to free up space for yours, however given the Alfa 4c handbook was written by someone that was clearly pi__ed when typing it, good luck finding it!

Once I've had the work done, I'll post up my opinion on how it's (hopefully) improved the tramlining and slightly skittish steering..My car is a later build so supposedly they were less affected than the earlier built cars but I still notice how it wants to follow lorry ruts and hunts around over the crown of the road. Don't get me wrong it's not dreadful but if the blocks and setup make a big improvement it'd be well worth the £500 investment to my mind anyway.

Download the Alpine pdf handbook for the device. It's easier to understand. Having said that I've tried to get the Alpine Tuneit App to bond with it on my iPhone without success! Pairing the phone via BT was easy enough.Enjoy the car, it looks lovely!
Also worth knowing that it 'DEFEAT' is ON then for some reason it wont show the 'Bass' and 'Treble' adjustment settings!
Found the manual on line - was just too many devices paired.

It’s been more than a year since I drove an Exige so a little hazy, but I guess the 4C steering isn’t quite up to Lotus standard of feel.
But, it’s not an issue in reality.
When I got the Alfa home I put it in the garage with the view to not driving it until I’m back from holiday.
Couldn’t resist though, so took it out again and visited some local B roads I used with the Exige.
This really is a very very good car!
All the roads around here are used by tractors etc, so not in great repair in places, but the Alfa was brilliant.
I’m wondering too, considering lack of tramlining that has been talked about that my car has had the Alfaworks mods done to it.
Is there anyway of knowing?
Once I get the hang of the paddles, and a bit more noise from the back, I think I’m going to thoroughly enjoy this
For less than £40k, I can’t think of any other car to touch it.
But, it’s not an issue in reality.

Alfaworks may be able to pop the Reg in there system to see, if you have the previous owners names that would be enough I’m sure . If not it’s a case of looking to see what spacer blocks it has , the alfaworks ones are a different colour to std but not sure if you can do that without putting it up on a ramp But, it’s not an issue in reality.
