Lovely car. Owned it the longest I’ve owned any car, 8 years!
Ideally I’m looking for a solid red coupe.
Edit: or yellow!

Good luck with the search, the fun bit begins!
I dropped mine over to Alfworks yesterday morning for their Geo setup, I'm collecting it in a couple of hours and hoping there's a big improvement!

The drive back should be a lot more enjoyable now it was night and day for me. I waited for mine to be done I think costa thought I was homeless.

I've gone for the intermediate setup for fast road use, fingers crossed it'll suit my style of driving...The drive back should be a lot more enjoyable now it was night and day for me. I waited for mine to be done I think costa thought I was homeless.

I would be interested to see how you get on with it, I am thinking of doing the same.
I drove back in driving rain and wind so not exactly ideal conditions to judge any improvement...It certainly felt less like it was trying to kill me, certainly an improvement but I'd need to do some more miles in it preferably in the dry to see how much improvement overall there has been.
Really nice bunch at Alfaworks, very pleased they're on my doorstep!
Intermediate set up here also.
Night and day difference.
A member of the Costa homeless club also 😂🤣🤣😂. What’s funny is you get distinct groupings in there - the coffee morning mums, the aimless/unemployed and I’m pretty sure the baristas are able to identify an “Alfaworks mob” group of single 40ish professional’ish blokes

First sub £30k coupe turns up on Autotrader. '67 plate low miles but Cat S. Sounds like it's had a fair old knock and I wonder about the impact of stress fractures to the tub?
It's cheap but the again from experience there's usually a reason and I generally gauge damaged repaired cars at two-thirds what a straight one would be.

Haven’t seen it , properly repaired should not be an issue but value 30-40% below book is fair and if you buy check costs to insure first , I’ve had 3 cat D cars ( old categories ) all I had repaired and were fine and offered a huge cost drop so worth doing ( one the wife had converted to cat D ) but was money in the bank . If you buy get it examined , a good repair is not an issue , a bodge is what it says . Plus on these is it may be totalled with little damage as insurer was scared to try and fix a 4c . Totalling a car is purely an insurance companies financial decision and remember many cars on third party if smacked the insurance co don’t pay out so it won’t get a category so great fir the back street repairers , many fleet and rental companies only have 3rd party . It’s buyer beware whatever you buy. It's cheap but the again from experience there's usually a reason and I generally gauge damaged repaired cars at two-thirds what a straight one would be.
