Anyone know what the final outcome for those cars were today?
On a separate note I’ve got a good friend that’s looking for ideally a yellow spider or coupe, is anyone looking fo sell at the moment?

One of them was my old car, interested to see what it made versus the lease co's silly asking price to me directly.
Looks like they've all gone from my 'watch' list, either sold or will appear again. Another one's appeared which has reg number following mine.
Keep an eye out on classifieds and see where they landed.

How many/who of you have ECU tunes on your 4C's? Worth it?

So, all 5 cars popped back into my inbox again from Manheim so obviously failed to meet the reserve price. We shall see what the future brings but it seems they aren't popular with trade buyers at the moment.

Or the reserve price is unrealistically high and Leasys are happy to hold onto these as they are not depreciating? They'll just keep putting them through tweaking the reserve price.

EDIT: worth noting these are all spiders

Personally I’ve never consider doing it or buying a car that has had it done. It’s really fast already!!

Six listed now, all spiders, 5 anniversary models. Those of you have had one, do they all have carbon behind the roof section on the Anniversary?

I'm tempted to test the reserve on one of these.

Yes all the Anniversary cars came with the “roll bar” finished in carbon fibre.

I would imagine the reserve price is probably 40K+ for these spiders.

Would be helpful to know how many data points, actual sales feed into this data. And the range of prices. Eg an average of £44k could arise from one sale at £38 and another at £50.

Thinking about purchasing the OEM boot lip spoiler and getting a bodyshop to match my paint (it's Madreperla and I don't know how difficult/easy that is to match). Anybody done something similar and got good results? I don't want it to look like it doesn't match and I'm not a fan of the carbon fiber lip.

Or you could do it yourself by trawling all the adverts, set up a spreadsheet, log the trends, update it weekly then let us all know the results etc bandit

Errr... or I could wait to see the results from the expert. Anyway, was just curious.

Hi Nik,

I could but don't want to give all the work that I've put into it away to be honest.

The market moves quite quickly and there are always anomaly cars that throw the stats a bit to be honest.

The really cheap spider in Belfast has just been purchased FYI.

No worries, didn’t want any trade secrets. Just wondering if the sample was meaningful, as it influences the relevance of the numbers. Anyway, best of luck in your ongoing efforts.

FWIW having owned a couple of them, I think they are very illiquid which makes pricing difficult for both buyers and sellers. And I think some of the so-called experts don’t really have much of a clue.

There are a couple of cars (coupes) under 40k with 2k and 2700 miles on them .

Any idea of the auction prices these would make?

Tks

At dealers ???

If so I'd not expect them to have paid much over 35k if that ....

They are sitting around for a while and only more arriving hence my holding fire plus I have finished prepping the 999R for sale ...

There were 35 or so cars on autotrader a couple of months ago, now there's 20, so people are seemingly buying them.

Anyway I bought mine to drive the socks off it, I don't really care what the value of it is at the end. I don't mind paying for the enjoyment of it.
