I was invited to take a Stelvio QF out for an extended test drive yesterday. Ninety, or so, minutes on mostly damp country lanes with wet leaves in awkward places.

The Stelvio dealt with it all with no drama. Its so stable and surefooted feeling safe and controlled, even with some enthusiastic right foot action and doesn't feel much slower, on the road at least, than the Giulia QF.

Many thanks to Thames Alfa of Slough, and Holly of Alfa UK, also Julian and Adrian of Alfa Aid for inviting me.

They are very good. I had one for half an hour on track at Goodwood in the summer. Although not as agile as the Giulia QF it certainly wasn't lardy. A fine choice for anyone who wanted something to compete with the more expensive sports SUVs.

I bought my Giulia QF from them, I didn't get an invite. What sort of customer service is that! TBH, I wasn't that impressed with them anyway, my car was outside in the p-ing down rain on collection day.

Got my Guilia from them aswell. Didn’t get an invite either !.
Booked in for a service soon, no offer of courtesy car or collection etc.
Does anyone know how to get an invite to anything Alfa ? Couldn’t get into the Alfa guest area at Goodwood was told invite only and was mostly empty !
Not the case at BMW just had to show my keyfob and had access to fill complementary drinks and viewing area etc.
Shame on Alfa, they need to value their customers, will they never learn by looking at the competition ?

Saw one of these on the roads the other day and it really is a nice looking car (that’s coming from someone who isn’t a huge fan of SUVs). The reviews all seem positive too.

Anyone here have one, ordered one or about to buy one?

I'd have one beside the Giulia QF, but the wife likes her mini countryman too much.

My wife keeps mentioning she would like a Stelvio Quadrifoglio, probably in white. When I said to the kids that she keeps talking about changing the Giulia Quadrifoglio for a Stelvio she said "Oh no. I meant as well as."!
Think we might need to finish paying for this one first.

Picked up my Stelvio Quadrifoglio last weekend

All good so far, steering and ride are fantastic and my god it’s quick.

Carbon buckets are a must, super comfy, they make the interior and provide extra legroom for rear passengers

I tried out both a Macan and glc 63 amg on extended test drives before taking the plunge and going for the Alfa.

Will get a few pics posted.

Great - just booked my corporate test drive. Replacing an X5M so also considering the Macan Turbo and GLE63.

Also considering a F-Pace SVR although not sure about the quality!

Any updates after a few more weeks of use would be great. Do you have any issues with wind or road noise which has been suggested in some reviews?
