Many thanks, unlikely then that there will be much in the way of aftermarket replacement controls which is a shame.

Here they are in the Fiat. I seem to recall reading that they were chosen by the 4C engineers due to their simplicity and light weight.

Those of you with the Alfaworks geo mod - do you find the Ackerman effect greatly exaggerated at low parking speeds?

No can’t say I can. Did you go for the road set up? We did. Not sure if the race set up would create more pro Ackerman or not. A Porsche GT3 I’ve found is horrific at parking speed.

I’ve got the intermediate set up
Sounds like it’s going to knacker the car when parking!

Sorry to hear that, I seem to recall that Some 4c's suffered with creaking front suspension that was actually due to faulty wishbones, not sure if that helps?

I've been out for an hour in nine this afternoon for a good drive-the first since Alfaworks had it to fit their mods. I have to say I'm very impressed too, 80% of the nervousness has been dialed out but the steering remains pin sharp. Well worth the money!
What’s the cost of the Geo and the remap pls and any Essex based specialist that can do the mods ? Tks

The geo is £450, the "remap" I think varies depending on if you opt for a dedicated Ecu that can be swapped out but I think around a £1000.
If you're in Essex then you're probably only a hour away from AW in Royston.

Can the ecu be remapped or do you have to change for new ecu?

I was wondering, found some strange holes L+R in a 4c advertised, and saw another one having the same.

and this example

other 4c does not have those? were they early examples? and what were they for.

Also this 4c with 355hp...must go well :-) it has engine and gearbox tuning?

Those are launch edition cars. Both will have a side vent too.

US versions all have "plain" headlights.

The vents or holes in the front was an option as well in the last one or two years of production.

As far as I know the standard TCT box is good only for 350 Nm torque so can't see above example transmission lasting very long unless, as you say, they also tuned the gearbox.
Not sure about reliability of that G-tech 355hp package; seems to be popular in Japan, where G-tech Gmbh has a branch.

350Nm is the standard torque (258lb ft = 349.8Nm) - are you saying the gearbox can't handle any more torque at all, or did you mean 350lb ft, which is 474Nm?

Most remaps I've seen are taking torque to around 285-290lbft or 385-400Nm.

Just ordered 10 mm front and 25 mm rear Spacers from Eurocompulsion. I feel the car really needs it to fill those beautiful arches. Also having seen a couple of videos I’ve gone for the V2 air filter kit as well. The noise sounds incredible and it remains to be seen but there is apparently a small performance improvement as well. Happily ever the missus works during the day so will never find out about the deliveries....
