Good to read that people have found the experience good enough to return again with a new car. Dealers seem to be the downfall, a great car let down slightly by a small and ill equipped network.
How are second hand values holding up, as expected ?

Quite a few slipping below £40k now. I suspect you'll see a bit more of a drop soon as the early ones fall out of their 3 year warranty or come off early leases. I've been keeping my eye on them for a while to see where they go.

Anyone know the story of this Q plated one?

Australia mentioned in description but surely you don't have to get a Q plate when registering one? Someone with more knowledge will know about this here.
£35-40k or so is a lot of car for the money considering they were 60odd new.

Yeah - I mean, it's a good £10k cheaper than a correctly plated equivalent so represents something of a bargain, but Q plate is odd, even if imported you usually get an age-appropriate plate AFAIK? Only ever seen Q plates on kit cars.

Substantially changed springs to mind for stuff on Q plates. It's cheap for a reason and will always be cheap.

Agree.

The story I heard was written off as flood damaged in Australia then imported to UK and fixed up.

Hi sorry to trouble you. If you don’t mind sharing , I’m interested in what % discount you were offered?

I’ve been offered what I think is the same car mentioned below at 16% off list so £62513 (£9609)

Do you think this is a fair deal ?
Many thanks
Mark

This spec car is available in 6 to 8 weeks. Presuming that AR UK have spec cars coming into stock.
Did you get anything off the purchase price ?

Competizone Red
Red calipers
Sparco seats
Red stitching
192 dark holes
Conv pack
Flat bottom steering wheel

Dealer I was discussing with hasn’t replied after I mentioned the discount figure.

Ok this is a UK forum but I thought I'd ask anyway - has anybody any experience with the manual Q..?
In terms of niggles, callbacks, what oil is best etc.

My general idea is to buy one and swap that horrible knob for a solid aluminium one (prob Richbrook) and also change the oil for RedLine etc, to get a nicer gearchange.

I could ask on a german forum but my german is a rittle rusty (rustier than my Alfa 75).

I noticed someone else was offered 16% on other thread so they are kicking around at that. I’ll ask dealer when talking to them later this week.

If you can get the friends, association's, clubs benefit that the dealer group allows - that's about the same as 15% off
