Likewise, really interested to hear about the ownership experience. Love the colour, I have a Rosso Etna quad on order that I'm desperately hoping turns up soon! I haven't managed to find many good pics online of the colour.
Some more pics from the detailer who added ceramic coating while it’s being prepped at Alfa UK10 days to go til pickup…
The colour looks different in every single picture / video. Which I think is ace! I’ve got a build week for my QV now - excited!

Nice, when’s your build date? Great cars
Good luck with the collection tomorrow! Hope the drive involves some fun areas.I got build week 9 so I imagine it's being built about... now? I believe it's around a month from build to delivery. I'm contemplating whether to have the car waxed/coated/something - any reccomendations from previous Giulia ownership?
Thanks,
Rob

A fair bit of motorway and then some twisty stuff on the way back to Edinburgh from Oxford. A well tested route!I got build week 9 so I imagine it's being built about... now? Alfa organised for a local detailer to go and put a ceramic coating on mine last week (I paid..), so it's good to go. They have been very helpful in organising everything (also had the insurance company tracker fitted in situ today)
Personally I'm not a fan of PPF - it takes away from the 'naked' paint finish, no matter how good it is, and seems to cost as much as a decent respray. I'd rather get full effect of the paintjob and take my chances.
Others may/do disagree, and carbon bits might take a battering, but I've not put PPF on for years now, and in fact took it off of my 8C when I bought it second hand! Much nicer without.
Didn't put it on two pervious quadrifoglios and don't remember any issues with paint.

Picked it up on Friday and did the 400 miles home - very useful as after 300 miles recommended (and also forced) running in on motorways, got to use it as intended on A-roads which make up last bit of trip.
It is pricey compared to a ‘normal’ one, but there’s so much more to it than I realised. (I’ve had two Quadrifoglios and done thousands of miles in them). This is not a buyer trying to justify! It really is noticeably different and better everywhere they have intervened.
Wider track is most obvious, and you really feel that in traction, grip etc and also road presence; the engine is much smoother and more responsive - a different block and internals not just the “30bhp” that magazines talk about. Suspension another level - much better damping than before.
Sound, build quality, paint finish two levels up than previously. All the improvements are noticeable and the whole package very well resolved and works as a whole. Feels like a solid, grown up, hotter rod version of the QF.
Only qualification is that interior could be more different, alcantara is nice but still too similar to normal one. Not bad but not spectacular, seats apart!
4 seat version was defo best choice for me, and really is a special bit of kit.

I saw that yesterday. Is it yours?
No was in there getting a new battery sorted for my Stelvio Quad. The GTA(m) is beyond my authorisation limit from the other half! As I left there was one in exactly the same colour driving along Redbourn Road towards the dealership. So I presume they have a demonstrator too, which seems insane. I wonder how many are in the country.
So have now done 5500 miles…magic!
It’s definitely levels up over a standard car, having driven it on same roads now. It’s really loosened up, and the sound especially is great now that the exhaust is ‘run-in’. Comfortable for hundreds of miles at a time and attacks the twisty stuff without having so much power you can’t use.
Been to bottom of France, across towards Spain and back to Scotland. Think the underside is a bit scuffed and the wheels are definitely kerbed in a too tight underground car park, which gets the new car feeling out of the way in a positive but painful way!
Proper thing

Thanks for sharing. Great to see it being used and hearing how it compares. Looks like you had some good company on the road trip too!
My Etna Red QV arrived, and similarly have been trying to make the most of it, but unfortunately that has resulted in a bent wheel on a pothole and a few marks. C’est la vie! The drive is great, would love a crack in a GTA!
