If anybody is looking, or knows anybody who is looking, for a 16v integrale, mine is on the cusp of going up for sale, regrettably.

It is a good one, even more so after a big spend (£6000) on new cams, gaskets and general tinkering this summer. Unfortunately the weather turns grotty in the blink of eye at the moment so getting good photos taken is awkward. i'll see if I can get an ad up this week.Post a few pics of her?
I love it; everybody who has been in it has loved it; the man on the street seems to love it and I thought it was a keeper but a large and unexpected property expenditure has come out of nowhere and I need the money back in the bank.
I love the Integrale - Its looks, the era its from and its motorsport pedigree. If i had a lot of money and a large collection of cars - I'm pretty sure I would have one in the collection.
But as a second car and only toy type scenario - Then no, I find left hand drive to be a massive inconvenience when trying to push on and i don't spend lots of time driving through Europe. I think there too expensive and possible to fragile to tune to a level where the performance would satisfy me. And (rightly or wrongly) it would cause me sleepless nights, compared o the better sleep a modified Escort Cosworth or Evo VI TME would give me.

I'm only a sample size of one, but I've had nothing major go wrong since my first integrale over 20 years ago. It's one of those cars if you drive it regularly and stay on top of minor issues so they don't turn into major ones, it's no better or worse than any other performance car of that age. It's a rally homologated engine. Tough as they come. Cheap and easy to tune to a reliable 300bhp (beyond that, gets expensive). Only the electricals have given me rare and trivial trouble. But as a second car and only toy type scenario - Then no, I find left hand drive to be a massive inconvenience when trying to push on and i don't spend lots of time driving through Europe. I can't think of any public road scenario where I could use more than 300bhp. With around 260-280bhp, on a power to weight ratio, it puts it into contention with some tasty modern Porsches. Certainly I can testify to outrunning a 996 Turbo once (although admittedly who knows what variables are involved when some random bloke on the internet makes such a claim). To be fair, my modern BMW family estate can cover ground quicker than a 28 year old Lancia but it was never about outright speed for me.
As for left hand drive, I can't honestly say it's been a problem. Can't overtake in the congested southeast anyway, plus elsewhere there's enough space to "have a look" before executing the overtake. Only multi-storey carparks could be an issue at the exit. I find LHD can actually make the car easier to place with respect to the left hand verge when pressing on.

The engine development was lacking, but there is now a specialist who can reliably get 500bhp out of it, so as said, 300bhp is relatively cheap and easy. That leaves the flexy 4 door hatchback shell, which was never designed for that sort of performance back in the 70s.There are ways to improve the body, but not cheap. DrBrule said:
Mine is now listed in the PH classifieds.
It looks like a nice example, I'm sure it will sell no problem. You see more Evos for sale than 16vs? And 8vs must be even rarer?
You need too add more pictures, good outside, underside, under bonnet and interior pictures are always a great selling point.
