Never posted in the Alfa forum before, but normally lurk, so thought you guys might be interested to know I spotted a Brera in my local Alfa dealer. Was closed at the time, but going to try and have a closer look later today or tomorrow.

Looks great, even in slightly dull silver. Anyone ordered one of these?

Haven't ordered one yet, but thinking about it. Not sure about the silver in the picture, think I prefer black.

Don't get one, they look very dumpy/fat and the rear end is awful, if you want an Alfa coupe, get a 3.2 V6 GT, they are very, very nice, especially in red with cream/black interior

Well yes, but the thing is, it's got a 10 year old chassis, an interior from a 147 and looks a bit like an Audi Coupe from the back. Other than that they're great.

Each to their own eh?

The BRERA is a fine looking car compared to most of its £30k rivals. The V6 version pushing 260 bhp and the 4 wheel drive system (Not sure when this is available) with a rear wheel drive bias and apparently up to 80% ??Does anyone know about this ?.

The Brera is surely going to be key to Alfa success in the future is going to be good head turner, with a tubi system could sound good too ! 159 chassis is supposed to much improved and has a wider tack all in all if you got the cash order one now! Much better than a BMW ! - for pure experience I would love to own a Zagato - lets be honest alfa's should be RWD!!

The Alfa coupe is a stodgy dumpling compared to the Brera

Just been to a 159 launch, the interior is well up to standard and the front is fantastic to look at, the Brera is going to be much much better than the GT, Even tho I would buy a GT myself (like the V6 version). I just think a Brera will be the one to beat the Germans at £30k mark. Autodelta I am sure will do wonders with it, Hope a GTA version becomes available ! Could be a M3 contester if they had a go - the chassis must be up to it.
