Squeking noise from front end
Discussion
Sounds like worn bushes in the wishbones. These should be replaced at service time. Whent the bushes wear enough to squeak it is likely that there is metal on metal contact on the wishbones. As these are manufactured from aluminium the result is rapid wear. I'm afraid you'll probably need new wishbones.
I've just replaced my wife's 156's lower front wishbones for the same reason - a squeaking noise over bumps. Interestingly, the noise came back after a couple of days! I gave the new lower wishbones (and the existing upper ones) a good spraying with Halfrauds finest rubber and nylon lubricating spray and it now seems to be OK - or at least has been for a month or so!
