What a fantastic day, more classic Alfas than you can imagine most of them being driven as all Alfas should be......Hard

Some very quick race machinery, and Richard Banks GTA replica was stunning round the track, amazing speed for a 40 year old car!

the lunch break opened up the track for all Alfas (even the moderns) so i enjoyed a couple of brisk "parade" laps.

I've got a real hankering for a late 60's Giulia Super now, might be time to review the fleet.

here's a few of my pics from today.

Stuart, (I take it you are the same Stuartalfa as on the AROC forums)

Am i right in thinking that is your blue 156 on the far right of the above photo. shame i didn't notice it on the day but our cars are quite closely related, mine is the grey 156 on the far left of that photo, close up of it below, check out the registration number!

If i had noticed on saturday it would have been great to get a photo of the two 156's together.

They must have been registered at the same place, i think my car has spent most of it's life in London, but it was registered to a company in Bristol before i owned it.

I live in Reading, Not going to the Bristol Italian car fest, unfortunately it always falls on the same day as Auto Italia day at Brooklands, which is event i enjoy. Shame because the bristol event looks fantastic aswell. I quite fancy the Spring Alfa day, but i'm at Castle Combe again the day before for a trackday (in my other car) so it might make the weekend a bit hectic. I will definitely be at the National Alfa Day in June.

Cheers
Mike

Every time I see this thread in "What's New" I misread it as 'alcoholics track day' with resulting mental picture of multiple drunken pileups.
